I may enter her class in trepidation each time I return after an absence. But I am always amply rewarded with feeling my best in mind , body and soul following her class. Subhadra is a Master Alchemist of sequencing. She knows how to distill the essence of each pose into little sound bites that click in your brain and body and get you moving in the right direction until it all clicks into place. Studying with her is like constructing a giant puzzle with moving parts and though it may be filled with a variety of shapes and forns, it all flows together into one fine masterpiece by the time you reach your most pleasurable shavasana. She can teach you how to make yoga accessible for anyone any time in any place. I’ve been with Subhadra and Yoga Angels since the beginning. And even though I go in and out through my various ventures. I feel so fortunate when Subhadra comes back into my life. It’s always at the right time. Just when I think my body is broken, her teaching reminds me, I have everything within me to heal. I've had a great time with Yoga Angels. I've practised both online and face to face with them and at times with my young family present . Very family friendly vibes and environment so it does not hold you back from learning and interacting. I have been tested SO MUCH with Yoga Angels in my yoga practice and its been absolutely excellent to learn my body (and mind) in such embracing company. Subhadra the owner is very experienced, inspirational in her knowledge and yoga practice. The partial scholarship helped me out massively when I wanted to get back into yoga after maternity leave and was juggling finances. If you're thinking about starting or continuing your yoga journey here is the place to do it .

I’ve really enjoyed the teacher training in Zanzibar. The course is excellent and Thanks for the opportunity to do a cleanse within the course. It has helped me shift back to a plant based lifestyle. And has offered new tools to help me detox and cleanse as part of a lifestyle. I’m impressed at how in a short time I was able to find new alternatives and routines I intend to carry with me. I Had bad belly pain and bloating happy to have found relief from that. I Feel greater self confidence for being able to stay focused…this is a big win for me. I am currently in the Yoga Angels Teacher Training 200 Hrs Course and let me tell you, it has been one of the most life-changing experiences for me. I am healing physically, emotionally and spiritually and I have learnt soooo much about my anatomy in such a short space of time. I can feel my body changing and becoming more agile, fit and energetic. I am learning to let go of all the thoughts that don’t serve me and have adopted a way more abundant mindset. I'm doing the YTT 200hr class and I am learning so much, it's informative, well detailed and I am grateful to have a teacher that is passionate about what she is doing, the channels for communication are open which is a big deal for me. I took yoga lessons with Subhadra @Sharazad Boutique hotel in Zanzibar! The classes were amazing! The way she teaches & explains the asanas is very very good! She dives deep into the anatomie & explains the poses very clear & specific! Subhadra has a very nice energy & spirit & even if poses are getting hard you can have a laugh! I was with Subhadra in several yoga classes during my vacations.... too bad I can't take her home ;-) she gave the class with so much heart, passion and soul... besides, she has an enormous knowledge about the anatomy of the body and knows exactly which muscle you have to tense more intensely,to get into the right yoga pose. with small details that show grandiose effect... really a unique yoga experience with Subhadra! :-)

Yoga angels and Subhadra brought its first 200hr training to Africa with Yoga for Wellness Africa - I was blessed to be a part of the training - an abundance of sharing, deep conversations and energetic sessions - I was pushed beyond my comfort and our training allowed me to grow and feel confident to teach more readily. From my own personal needs - would need more theory to help my personal knowledge. And also more structure to allow me to work and learn in a sound way.
