I am beyond frustrated. I came in with a specific goal: I’m growing out the top and explicitly told the barber to only trim the sides. I had a stylish side-parting with length that I sweep back, and I made it clear I wanted to keep that length. The barber said “okay, only texture,” then proceeded to hack 2 inches off the top! I walked out with an entirely different hairstyle—a blown-out pompadour quiff—that is the polar opposite of what I asked for. It’s like they only know 4 or 5 styles and just give you the one they feel like doing regardless of what you say. To make matters worse, my wife and I are expecting a baby in two weeks, and now I’m going to look like an absolute idiot in all our first photos because a professional couldn't follow a simple instruction to leave the top alone. I went back and got a refund because the damage was so bad, but that doesn't fix the 3-4 months of growth I just lost. If you want anything other than a basic fade, which I can do myself, avoid this place. They simply do not listen.
