I will try to keep this as short as possible as it is a review but I also feel I’d been doing anyone in need of help a disservice if I don’t fully explain the impact Merimme has been to myself and my family since we’ve met her in our time of need. Merimme came into me and my family lives at one of our lowest lows. I am a first responder for almost 15 years and have been through countless incidents of trauma (cost of doing business) and unfortunately at home, my job wasn’t finished as we have a mentally ill child at our home that has been nothing more than an emotional roller coaster with no end in sight. Finally the time came that my wife and I could no longer do it alone and needed help for everyone’s sake. Merieme was that person to help us through this dark time. For someone who has had multiple professional contacts with persons in the mental health field, I can understand people’s frustrations with the system and what appears to be a lack of care or compassion with a very overwhelmed and underfunded system. But despite all this, meriemme has restored my faith in the system and is a testament that with enough hope and patience, there are still people out there that care and will give you their best every time you need them. It a matter of months I saw how much more our family’s quality of life had improved through Merieme’s dedication and compassion. Merieme’s vast knowledge and experience through all facets of mental health challenges was truly a blessing to us. She was able to help each and everyone of us in a way that was needed to us. That was the catalyst that began our healing journey to a happier and healthy life for all of us. Although our healing journey isn’t over, I have a great sense of relief knowing that she is by me and my family’s side along the way. I write this review in the hopes that if there is anyone out there whether it be a first responder, military, or civilian, with their own mental health struggles and need that hand to pull them from the dark, meriemme is that person and she will show up. Healing people help people and that’s what I hope for anyone who reads this and needs it. Thank you for all that you do Meriemme, I wouldn’t be where I am now without you.
