i took their wedding package and i was also their first client to have a wedding at UTM hall & residencesince i was their first client at this venue, i honestly expected guidance from the team. i thought since i hired a wedding planner, it would make things less stressful for me as a bride. unfortunately, had to think and figure out quite a lot of things myself.there was no proper guideline or layout for the venue, and i had to come back & forth to the venue to check on it myself. and i need to assist with the table arrangement and decide where the tables should go, a day before my wedding.. again, i thought the wedding planner was supposed to advise me on these things instead of me having to figure it out myself..and my wedding was during the same week as their wedding expo. i understand that the expo is important, but since this was their first wedding at the venue, i thought they would try their best to be more present at/before my wedding. unfortunately, the wedding planner who had been assisting me from the beginning was not there on my wedding day either.there were also a few other issues:- the table arrangement was not enough, and i had to be involved in figuring out where to put the tables.- i changed my wedding cake design around 3 weeks before the wedding. i was told it was okay, but on the day, i received the original design.- there was a mistake with the name on the photobooth. thankfully, it was changed before my nikah started, but i was quite disappointed that this was not caught during their qc - or do they have one? im not sure..- the leftover food was packed in quite big rempeyek containers. personally, i would prefer smaller containers so that we could easily give them to our guests.i have already discussed these issues with the PIC through whatsapp, so this review is not to tell people to avoid them. am sharing this bcs this was my personal experience, and hopefully the owner/management can look into these things and improve for future clients.i was also a bit disappointed bcs i noticed they put a lot of effort into their influencer jobs (iykyk) and post about them quite a lot on instagram. i understand that influencers are part of their marketing, but as a normal client, i also expected the same effort and attention, especially since i was their first wedding at this venue.overall, i was happy with the food and the pelamin. the caterer's food was reallyyy good, and the pelamin was also nice.so, 3/5 from me. there were definitely good parts, but i felt that i still had to think about and handle too many things myself. hopefully the team can improve their planning, QC and on the day coordination, especially when handling a new venue for the first time
