I really enjoy classes with Laurel (salsa 1) and Chloe (bachata 1)! They are really friendly, and Tracy and Jacintha are always there to help out if you’re not sure what you’re doing during classes too. I always feel welcome, like it’s appropriate for all dance levels. There are plenty of meetups outside of class, like people will go to Brasil’s on Wednesdays/weekends or have a “dance party” in the studio some Saturdays. I feel like the classes set me up with enough foundation to go out “in the wild” and learn from people there too. The music in Spanish during class is appropriate for salsa and bachata and I feel like it honors Latin@ culture. Less

Laurel’s level 4 salsa class is a great workout and fun environment to learn some more intricate figures and combos. I’ve been a partner dancer for 20 years and I’m always happy having gone to class! Less

This is a great dance community full of lovely people who are committed to dance. I was introduced to this studio by a friend who already has been taking classes for years. I am three classes in and loving it. Laurel and Tracy are excellent teachers no matter what level you are, even if you’re someone who says they can’t dance! Even better the community wants to dance with you and is so open, and I feel like I am really making progress at salsa dancing. Less

I’ve been taking lessons on and off for about a year and I look forward to dance classes every week! I had almost no salsa background when I started and I can’t believe how much I’ve learned. Laurel, Tracy and the other instructors are friendly, fun and effective at breaking down the basics. In addition, the socials and community events have made coming here not just an opportunity to improve dancing, but also to make new friends and gain a community.
