If 0 stars was a choice, I’d give it. I am a natural hair girl and my curls are always tight. After going almost 2 weeks ago, I discovered after washing my hair that my curls were a lot looser. I’m pissed!!! After doing some research, a texturized was definitely put in my hair as it’s easy to sneak in because it doesn’t burn like a perm would. The goal is to make their job easier and take away the beauty of natural curls. Not okay!!! Thanks for nothing! 😒

All this post talking about their curly hair got ruined after getting silk press 🙄🙄 don't come to a Dominican salons if you don't know how Dominicans take care of their hair if you don't want to damage your curly hair you have to use rollers and dry your hair that way two hours minimum depending on your hair length silk press for special occasions rollers otherwise. You want a silk press every week and expect no changes on your curly hair then you come here and complain about people being rude because they speak Spanish but you went to a Dominican salon we speak Spanish in Dominican Republic. If we laughing it doesn't have to be about you they just met you; tip, You aren't that important take the paranoia down to zero.

Everyone here is very nice, and I truly appreciated that part of the experience. My concern is that when I visited, my hair was very full and long, nearly waist-length. After having my hair done once, my texture changed. Now, when I wash it, my hair dries almost bone straight.At first, I thought the change might be temporary, possibly caused by a keratin-based shampoo. However, I’ve since tried Olaplex and K18, and my hair still has not reverted to its natural texture. For additional context I have had my hair straightened hundreds of times and this has never happened.

Like any traditional walk-in experience, be prepared to spend some time there rather than expecting to be in and out—but they were still very efficient and moved quickly. The salon environment is clean, welcoming, and beautiful. My silk press came out amazing. Just keep in mind, services don’t cost $50—they start at $50. I would definitely return!

I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt soooo bad but….the salon is clean and pretty. They’re pretty skilled in textured hair and can give a good silk press and blow dry. Except for the shampoo girl with the short curly cut she got some mean hands ! She doesn’t know our hair texture and she is very rough and painful. My kids said that and I experienced it too when I was end tp my separate appointment. As a grown adult I was in pure pain. She also gives low key racist vibes. My MAIN issue tho is that they do actually use relaxer without your permission on children . Smh TWICE they did it to my kids and it took weeeeeks to get the smell out. They didn’t do it to me I have looser curl and my girls have kinky hair . Yes they use relaxer and yes they lost our business smh also they charge $350 for color smh

I am rating this establishment with one star, not due to the quality of their work. They did an excellent job on my hair; however, I was informed that the price would be $50 prior to my arrival, yet I was charged $70. This was despite having sent a picture of my hair beforehand. Additionally, I had my hair done two days ago and called to inquire about the cost of a minor touch-up, which would not require much effort. They attempted to charge me half of what I originally paid for the service. Given this experience, I had hoped this would be a place I would return to, but due to their price gouging and the discrepancies between what was communicated over the phone and what I was charged upon arrival, I will not be returning. Although they do a good job, this was my first and last visit.
