Our rescue terrier mix had so much baggage when we adopted him. We knew he was nervous but we didn’t realize how much until we started trying to take him places. He would bark at strangers, get overwhelmed, and basically shut down anytime something remotely scary happened. We did the day training program with Jaclyn and he made so much progress! The training really helped us understand Marley and how to help him navigate the world better. The videos were probably my favorite part. I would sit and watch every single one because it was so cool seeing the progress from week to week. Marley is so much more confident now. We can actually enjoy taking him on walks and adventures instead of constantly worrying about how he’s going to react. Best decision we made for him!

Its been 3 months since I adopted a 3mo old Golden Doodle. I have a 7yr old Golden Doodle and it's been a crazy house trying to coordinate puppy training all the while having an adult (spoiled) dog. I've spent so much time looking for dog trainers/training facilities and by chance I found Little Paws Dog Training, which sounded exactly what I was hoping to find. The only problem I'm out of the area of service. I was overjoyed to have a conversation with Jaclyn which turned out to be a life saver to gets suggestions for immediate control for my puppy's separation anxiety, and additionally life saving suggestions for immediate work, so that I didn't jump off the roof from frustration. Jaclyn's kindness in taking the time to talk to me was an example of customer service that demonstrates the “spirit” upon which so many successful business's are dependent. I felt compelled to thank her formally. Jaclyn needs to be congratulated on her policy of satisfying the customer in all situations (even though I'm not a customer). You can be sure I will pass the word along that Little Paws Dog Training provides quality service.

If you’re on the fence, choose to do it. 10/10 experience.Hands down the best service I have ever had for my dog! I’ve had a few trainers for her. She’s a 20lb long-haired chihuahua with a serious level of independence and opposition to direction.I had her board and trained for 6 weeks (originally 4 but I extended it), and she came back a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DOG! The boarding even came with 1-2 private lessons to make sure we understood the “how’s” and “why’s” of the training, and to set us up with the proper education. Jaclyn even taped her training sessions and posted them on a shared drive so I could stay updated on her progress. She also took some professional photos of her while working with her, and they’re amazing.I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with the outcome. She’s so much more enjoyable to have around, and she’s continuing to get better each day. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for such an amazing transformation!

Jaclyn is an AMAZING dog trainer. She takes on tough cases and breaks through immediately with each dog. She took the time to come to our rescue and educate our team on how to work with frightened dogs coming out of hoarding situations. She gave us the tools, techniques, and language in a gentle and easy manner for us to understand and replicate. We were shocked to see the progress she made with each dog in a short amount of time. I highly recommend Jaclyn to anyone in need of help with their dog. She is a beautiful person, and great to be around. Before working with Little Paws Dog Training, our shepherd mix, Moose, was exhausting to live with. He barked constantly at the windows, jumped on visitors the second they walked through the door, and would steal food off the counters whenever we turned our backs. We couldn’t go on peaceful walks, he would just drag us by the leash. We felt like our entire day revolved around Moose and his mischief.After doing the immersion program with Jaclyn, Moose is calmer, more obedient, and so much easier to live with. He now understands his commands clearly, settles in the home, and walks politely on leash instead of dragging us around. I also really appreciated how much education and support we received as owners throughout the process. Jaclyn’s coaching was very helpful and she was very patient with us the whole time. We’re also really enjoying the followup private lessons when we need the extra help.If you have a crazy dog and are looking for dog training in Orange County for house manners and leash manners, I highly recommend Little Paws Dog Training! I feel like I have a much better relationship with my dog now that I’m not always getting frustrated with him. The training totally changed everything!

I highly recommend Jaclyn. Our energetic 2 year old Labrador went from having zero reliable recall to being happily off leash in parks and trails within just 3 weeks. What stands out most is the outstanding human instruction, Jaclyn explained everything using deep explanation but in clear, understandable language. She covered the command, timing, reward and pressure/release in a practical way that any owner can grasp and apply in daily life.The e-collar training was incredibly effective. I came to Little Paws Dog Training to get my rescue doodle trained. My dog, Maisie, was very reactive on leash and I could not take her on walks without her causing a scene. I signed up for the immersive training program and I am so happy I did! Maisie came back understanding all her commands, walks on leash, and I can finally take her places with me and she actually listens. My family is so delighted with her new manners and I think she has a much better quality of life now that she can actually leave the house. Jaclyn’s training videos are so helpful. I was very intimidated by the ecollar at first, but now we love it because it gives Maisie more freedom! Jaclyn does a great job explaining how to use the training tools in a gentle and non-intimidating manner. 10/10 recommend Little Paws Dog Training to anyone looking for a dog trainer in Fullerton or Orange County!

Jaclyn has a very calm and confident style of Training. I would drop my maltipoo pup off at the park and she would spend the day with Jaclyn working on various things. I appreciated the light confident touch she used with my small dog as she is relatively easygoing I just needed some guidance and direction. Jaclyn works with one of my friend's dogs who is big dog and has done amazing training with him too. This girl has range! I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needed help with their dog!
