We are so lucky to have found Little Paws Dog Training and Jaclyn! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and these amazing results for our 7 year old Pomeranian!Jaclyn first did an assessment for our Pom and presented several options. We went with the 6 week training/boarding program hoping for the best, and he came back completely transformed!I was very nervous to send him away, but Jaclyn reassured me she would send updates which we all loved to see. She’d respond to all my texts and would post photos in a shared photo album.Previously he was very reactive and yappy and we felt like we couldn’t control him. Jaclyn taught him how to properly walk with a leash and some commands to combat his behavior. She also taught us how to properly reward him.After the training, she dropped him off and spent time explaining and walking us through everything he learned. Now our Pom is very calm and collected, and we know he learned so much in her care! She came to drop something off after he came home, and our Pom was SO happy to see her! We already knew it, but that further confirmed he was well taken care of.If you are considering sending your pup to Little Paws, do not hesitate! Jaclyn was incredible to work with, and the results speak for themselves! We are so happy with the progress our Pom made with her and are grateful to have found Jaclyn!

Jaclyn is not only kind but very knowledgeable when it comes to helping out our fur baby ! We did her board and training program and my Mallinois came back to me a totally better and mature dog ! Working with Jaclyn has been such an amazing experience. Before meeting her, I had done so many one-on-one sessions with other trainers and nothing stuck for us. I immediately felt so comfortable working with Jaclyn because she took the time to explain the process and the reasoning behind every exercise we did. I came in with my dog i got in January who had just been rehomed at 3 years old. He is an anxious, excited and reactive dog who had spent most of his life as a fully outdoor dog, so transitioning him into a completely different lifestyle was a huge adjustment for both of us. Since working with Jaclyn, I’ve noticed such a huge difference in him and in our relationship. She has helped me understand my dog better, communicate with him more clearly, and build a much stronger relationship with him.What I appreciate most is that I never feel like I’m just being told what to do. Jaclyn makes sure I understand why we’re doing something and what my dog is learning from it, which has made me feel so much more confident handling him on my own. I’m so grateful for everything she has taught us and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer who truly cares about educating both the dog and the handler.

We can’t recommend Jaclyn enough! She was referred to us by the rescue where we adopted our sassy dog, Ruby. We were looking for help with her fearful and reactive behaviors, especially with two young children at home.From the initial consultation, it was clear that Jaclyn is exceptionally knowledgeable about canine behavior. She was professional, patient, and gentle, taking the time to explain dog body language and behaviors in a way that was easy to understand. She was also transparent and realistic in setting expectations, helping us understand what Ruby’s progress may look like throughout the training process. We really appreciated her honesty, as it helped us understand that behavior change takes time, consistency, and patience rather than expecting a quick fix.We enrolled Ruby in Jaclyn's 8-week day training program, and Jaclyn was always punctual, communicative, and thorough. Our rescue terrier mix had so much baggage when we adopted him. We knew he was nervous but we didn’t realize how much until we started trying to take him places. He would bark at strangers, get overwhelmed, and basically shut down anytime something remotely scary happened. We did the day training program with Jaclyn and he made so much progress! The training really helped us understand Marley and how to help him navigate the world better. The videos were probably my favorite part. I would sit and watch every single one because it was so cool seeing the progress from week to week. Marley is so much more confident now. We can actually enjoy taking him on walks and adventures instead of constantly worrying about how he’s going to react. Best decision we made for him!

Its been 3 months since I adopted a 3mo old Golden Doodle. I have a 7yr old Golden Doodle and it's been a crazy house trying to coordinate puppy training all the while having an adult (spoiled) dog. I've spent so much time looking for dog trainers/training facilities and by chance I found Little Paws Dog Training, which sounded exactly what I was hoping to find. The only problem I'm out of the area of service. I was overjoyed to have a conversation with Jaclyn which turned out to be a life saver to gets suggestions for immediate control for my puppy's separation anxiety, and additionally life saving suggestions for immediate work, so that I didn't jump off the roof from frustration. Jaclyn's kindness in taking the time to talk to me was an example of customer service that demonstrates the “spirit” upon which so many successful business's are dependent. I felt compelled to thank her formally. Jaclyn needs to be congratulated on her policy of satisfying the customer in all situations (even though I'm not a customer). You can be sure I will pass the word along that Little Paws Dog Training provides quality service.

If you’re on the fence, choose to do it. 10/10 experience.Hands down the best service I have ever had for my dog! I’ve had a few trainers for her. She’s a 20lb long-haired chihuahua with a serious level of independence and opposition to direction.I had her board and trained for 6 weeks (originally 4 but I extended it), and she came back a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DOG! The boarding even came with 1-2 private lessons to make sure we understood the “how’s” and “why’s” of the training, and to set us up with the proper education. Jaclyn even taped her training sessions and posted them on a shared drive so I could stay updated on her progress. She also took some professional photos of her while working with her, and they’re amazing.I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with the outcome. She’s so much more enjoyable to have around, and she’s continuing to get better each day. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for such an amazing transformation!

Jaclyn is an AMAZING dog trainer. She takes on tough cases and breaks through immediately with each dog. She took the time to come to our rescue and educate our team on how to work with frightened dogs coming out of hoarding situations. She gave us the tools, techniques, and language in a gentle and easy manner for us to understand and replicate. We were shocked to see the progress she made with each dog in a short amount of time. I highly recommend Jaclyn to anyone in need of help with their dog. She is a beautiful person, and great to be around. You will enjoy your time with her while learning to transition your dog into a happier state!!! She has a gift! Try this trainer!
