My son wanted to try Jiu-Jitsu. This place was recommended by a friend. The whole process was easy and seamless. We were immediately texted back, and offered a trial class. My son enjoyed it and felt challenged. We signed up and so far he’s loving it.

JJ Modern is a great place to visit and train!! Carlos and team are always welcoming and ready for some tough training, definitely one of the best places on Long Island to train at. Highly recommend.

I have been dropping in to classes at Jiu Jitsu Modern for a couple of years now and it is such a great vibe!! I don’t live locally but the instruction and people are high level and everyone is very helpful. I would highly recommend this school if you are thinking of starting jiu jitsu or looking for a change in training.

I just started at Jiu Jitsu Modern and so far my experience has been great! I just moved to the area and I'm new to the gym, but not the sport. Everyone so far has been very welcoming and friendly, and training partners have been great.There's plenty of mat space, and every class I've been to has had a good showing of attendance. I'd reccommend giving JJ Modern a try!

Great gym. Instructor and all people very nice and teaches very well. Had a temporal membership due to going back to college. I will be back next summer!

This place is awesome. Professor Carlos and his team are all incredibly skillful and supportive. Everybody who practices there is cool. I've been going for about a year now and I couldn't be happier. There has also been MASSIVE improvement not just physically but mentally from day one to now.
