We brought our son to Sharkey’s for his very first haircut, and it was such a wonderful experience! We scheduled a Wednesday appointment, which ended up being the perfect time because it wasn’t too crowded.Marie was absolutely incredible. She did an amazing job cutting his hair, and the way she worked around him while he was being a little wiggly in the chair was so impressive. She was patient, gentle, and truly knew how to make him feel comfortable. She listened to exactly what we wanted and gave him the PERFECT first haircut!I would highly recommend Sharkey’s to any parent looking for a haircut experience for their child, whether it’s their first cut or a regular trim. A little overdue, but my wife and I took our son for his first haircut at Sharkey's Cuts for Kids. From the moment we walked in, my son’s eyes lit up. They have fun, age-appropriate chairs for all kids, and the whole place is designed so cute, it really makes the experience special. We booked with Marissa. At first, our son was crying and nervous, but she took her time, talked to him, and made him feel comfortable. By the end, he was so happy and relaxed. She was very professional and patient the entire time.His haircut came out perfect, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. I’m already booking his next appointment, which is why I wanted to leave this review now.Thank you, Marissa and Sharkey’s, you won our hearts.

Been here twice so far with my 20 month oldThe first time I went my son and I left crying after the appointment, it was stressful, he was nervous, sensitive to the buzzer and the women I had made it 10x more stressful. She kept making comments that made me so uncomfortable.I called before rebooking and asked for the most patient person they had and was recommended Rosanne. Rosanne made this experience 1000x better, and I will definitely go back to see her for my son! She was patient, she was kind, she was understanding and encouraging. She was FAST. She got the job done in like 5 mins and made it a non painful experience! She has a ton of experience and even experience with autistic children so I highly recommend her! My sons haircut looks adorable!

After trying a couple of different barbershops with my son when he was much smaller we gave Sharkey’s a try after a recommendation from a friend. We love it here!! We have been going for years at this point! We always make sure we book with Marissa, or as my son calls her “Aunt Marissa” haha! She’s been hands down the best! My son is soon to be 4 and can’t imagine getting his haircut by anyone else!

I brought my son to Sharkeys forHis first hair cut. What a cool place!! Each chair was a different type of race car, came with its own TV for cartoons. We originallyBooked with Marissa but ended up having to be rescheduled with Rosanna and she was great! At the end my son got a lollipop, balloon & a race car. Place was packed !

We had the most incredible experience at Sharkey's - Marissa cut my 2.5 year old's hair, and she was so caring and understanding when I told her that I had a bad experience in the past. She made me feel so comfortable, my son loved her and she did exactly what I asked for! My children (6 and 9) have been going to Sharkey's for a long time. They love going, and my daughter really loves getting her nails painted when she goes for the haircut. Dalia does an excellent job with my son's hair, and we also love Ayse, who usually does my daughter's hair. Denise is a gem, too. They've always addressed any question or concern I've ever had about the kids' hair. When my kids recently had modeling headshots done, I trusted Sharkey's to do their hair right beforehand and was very happy (see photos, taken 1.5 hours after the haircuts at Sharkey's with Dalia and Ayse). I haven't really had experience with the other stylists but they all seem friendly and good with kids. Definitely recommended this location whether for a regular haircut or a special occasion.

The absolute BEST place! The staff and all the stylists were so nice, the atmosphere is so pleasant. I never leave reviews but I wanted to for this place. I’ve been searching for a very long time and been to so many places for my son’s haircuts and I finally found this salon. I also brought my 4 year old niece who is not a fan of getting her haircut or anyone touching her hair. The staff were so amazing with her. She loved it! Thank you for the great experience!

Took my son here today for a haircut with Roseann, and she was absolutely amazing! It was our first time, and over the past year my son hasn’t wanted anyone cutting his hair—he’s very sensitive to the sound of the buzzer and gets overwhelmed in busy barbershops.Roseann was truly a magician. She was so sweet, patient, and made him feel completely comfortable and safe. He didn’t even realize she was cutting his hair!We’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend!
