I worked with Michael over a couple of years. We progressed from struggling jazz solos on Clarinet to building the required foundation to attack complicated changes with confidence. He guided through learning tenor sax. Fast forward 2 years and I'm on stage 1 to 2 times a month with my band performing tenor sax as my main. Thanks Michael!

Really enjoy Michael‘s in-depth instructional videos - they meet you wherever you‘re at on the road to saxophone improvisation. He’s created a nice community where you can post videos/audio of you playing to get advice and encouragement from him and the other members. Definitely try it out…the more, the merrier :)

Michael is the best saxophone coach you can find out there! He took me from barely knowing how to read music and not knowing anything about music theory, to now being very comfortable with playing in public, improvising and playing in a band, in just 3 months. Yes, it took a lot of practice and time invested, but Michael knew how and what I needed to work on. He has very comprehensive practice material and methodology for teaching beginners, intermediate and advanced players. Not only is he very knowledgable, he is very patient, kind and was always encouraging me. 10 out of 5 stars!!
