OMG Saturday July 11, 2026 at 11:50 am I came into the cafe and ordered 3 drinks of which one was a Winnie the Pooh for my daughter. I ordered it with almond milk... Thinking it was right. The owner had a sign on the front door that they were closing for the day at noon. When I arrived three other customers showed up and placed orders. I jokingly laughed and said to the owner "you thought you were leaving at noon". He just smiled and said I thought so too and continued making drinks. I get home and my daughter is so excited to try her drink and I tell her I wasn't sure what kind of milk you wanted and that was the end. I run out of the house because I feel so so bad, I was trying to do something right and messed up and needed to make it right. I try calling the cafe for I know they are trying to leave and NO answer ugh. I'm only a couple minutes from the cafe but it felt like fifteen and I'm driving faster to get there. I finally get there at 12:05 and run...I mean run up to the doors and it's locked. I see the owner looking and HE must have seen the pitiful look on my face and came to the door. I explained what happened and asked if he could remake the drink mind you AFTER they had cleaned up everything (and working at Wawa I know what they have to do) he pleasantly made my drink without hesitation as we chatted making me feel at ease and not being a burden to him. I would definitely recommend Brewed Awakening to anyone for their professional customer service as well as their products. I have never had a bad thing from them. They ARE always so friendly and prompt. Thank you so very much for what you did today!!!

I got an iced chai latte with almond milk and it tasted and looked like they put cinnamon in water and called it a day. I’m so disappointed idk how you can mess up a chai that bad. They were training a new hire and were not really attentive to the customers only their friends that walked in, they just stare at you like you have five heads. I had high hopes about this place and tried to give it a chance. I have heard good things but this is disappointing.

I’ve been enjoying Brewed Awakening for going in five years. It’s a staple for Royersford locals, and an easy walk in the borough. We love stopping by for a delicious coffee, and occasionally treat ourselves to a delicious sandwich (but really, what’s better—the sandwich or the revolution that is a side of hash browns?!).It’s a great place to for a relaxing coffee while my son gets to color.Last note: Mark, the owner, is incredibly thoughtful especially toward my kids. When it comes to supporting small businesses, I earnestly encourage you to support his.

I had a very disappointing experience at Brewed Awakening. I ordered two lattes with whole milk, and with tip the total came to $12—which would be fine if the quality matched the price. Unfortunately, it didn’t.What we were served tasted nothing like a proper latte. It was essentially a regular cup of coffee —extremely bitter and unpleasant. I went back politely and asked if they could remake it while explaining the issue. Instead of any attempt to fix it, I was met with sarcasm and told it would taste the same anyway.That response alone was enough to confirm the lack of care for customers. Whether that person was the owner or not, the attitude was unacceptable. If you’re paying for a latte, you should at least receive something resembling one—and basic customer service.Save your money. Friend group was in town for two days, this is the only shop we needed. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the coffee and the staff. It was so good we came back a second time. 10/10 would recommend.

A real hometown Royersford coffee shop owned by a local family. Great tasting locally roasted espresso, cookies, wifi, and outdoor seating when there is nice weather. They also have teas, including matcha and rooibos tea. The youth who work there do a great job. Be patient during the peak times on weekends and holidays.

I used to go to brewed awakening in high school and absolutely loved it! After I moved back to the area after college, I decided to stop back in to my favorite spot! The staff is friendly and has fantastic recommendations based on what you like! Mark, the owner, is super genuine and makes my morning when I stop in to pick up my favorite latte! I highly recommend trying the blueberry brown sugar latte! It’s incredible! Thank you Brewed Awakening for making my mornings and helping me gear up for my busy day and meetings!!

Brewed awakening has been my morning pitstopfor almost a year now since moving to spring city, it’s a great place just on the atmosphere and coffee alone but on top of that they have a friendly tight knit staff that seems like family and makes you feel apart of it. For a coffee shop they may have the best & biggest breakfast sandwiches in town… skip the wawa sizzli and get one of these and you’ll be full until dinner, I honestly get the sandwich just for the “waffle hashbrown” that comes with them. It’s a great place to read or get some work done, only issue I have is sometimes there’s not enough seating because it gets so busy which i suppose is a good problem to have! Mark and his whole family are a staple in Royersford and my morning routine.

I have found a new local favorite! I walked in and was amazed at all of unique coffee and bakery options. I ordered the blueberry oatmilk brown sugar latte and the Nutella muffin. I have never seen that coffee combination before and it was absolutely delish. And as a self proclaimed Nutella addict - that muffin was top notch. The ambiance was perfect which was made even better by Mark who welcomed me in and made my order. I will definitely be back - and with friends. This is a must stop if you’re in the area!

Our order was incomplete. my husband’s breakfast sandwich was missing. I tried calling right away and continued calling over the next two days, and also sent a Facebook message. No one ever answered or responded. I understand mistakes happen, but completely ignoring a customer trying to resolve an issue is disappointing. On top of that, the bagel with cream cheese we ordered had such a small amount of cream cheese that it was barely noticeable.Edit * In response to owner reply-I sent my number via Facebook regarding a refund. I hope to hear from someone this week to resolve this. Thank you!!!Edit AGAIN- owner is flat out refusing to answer me and offer a refund. It’s been over 2 weeks. And you clearly saw my review and offered no remedy? Insane. What a DISHONEST business. I will stick to Java’s brewin. Their owner, Bob, is a true gem in the community. I would be embarrased to conduct business like the owner of Brewed Awakening.

Tried to come now twice both times on a Friday late morning/ early afternoon. Both times they were close. Nothing on their facebook, google shows open.Not one to complain just please update your hours if you’re not actually open on Fridays!
