Derrick did a wonderful job. We were moving from out of state, and it was easy to communicate with him to get it scheduled. In addition, he walked me through the main items he would be checking, and explained the differences in the Texas inspections from our previous state. The report was thorough, detailed, and contained enough images to where we could see the issues present. He also followed up with me to discuss the report and see if I had any questions, which was so helpful and really appreciated. Overall, would recommend to everyone.

Derrick was very professional during our contracted house inspection. He was upfront about if we were to stop by, try not to interrupt as he would be focused and didn't want to miss anything. Talked to Derrick and Carlos and they were so helpful in telling me about my Home Inspection. I had a lot of questions and they answered everyone of them so I could understand what needed to be repaired and since I could not go to the house to meet them then they talked to me over the phone. I asked Carlos if he could please measure the place where my refrigerator was going to go since I could not go meet them at the house and he went way beyond the call of duty and gave me the measurements!!! Carlos was the one who came out and inspected our new home. He was thorough and took the time to double checks the things we were extremely concerned about in person as well. He was very candid helped alleviate our fears purchasing an older home as our very first home. He had a great sense of humor which helped our conversations about the home. After being told by multiple inspection companies that they would not able to come out because of a form required to be signed from the builder, I reached out to my amazing realtor and she gave me a referral for Superior Home Inspection Services. I needed to have the inspection completed within two days. After speaking with Derrick on Wednesday, he told me that he could do the inspection Friday morning and there was no issue to sign the form from the builder. When I arrived to my home Friday morning, Derrick had already been there for two hours and was working extremely hard. Very impressed with Derrick's quick response time as well as diligence in his work. Being new to the home ownership process, I relied heavily on Derrick's thoroughness and ability to communicate important items that resulted from the inspection and he in fact delivered. Not only did he keep the scheduled meet time but he was early to the prospective home. He listened to my concerns beforehand and made sure to review and address each one when we met for the debrief. I love that he made sure that I met him at the location and he slowly walked me through each item on the report. He gave me his professional insight and advice on items to push and items that aren't a big deal. Of course I ran this advice passed a few other people and they were in agreement that he was spot on. Very thankful for his diligence in an already hectic process!
