I've had great experiences with trainers James and Jack. It's almost magic the way they have worked with my dog. What's wonderful is that they have taught me and my dog the techniques for creating that magic. I am also appreciative of Jacks working with my dog on how to get out of my pool.

I have an 18 month-old American Bulldog who is a jumper - very very exuberant! She’s also 75 pounds and still growing. Brooklyn spent 3 weeks at the PDA board & train program. Her handlers, Jack and Caleb, worked a miracle!! I waited until I had her back home for a week to write my review because the training they did with her (and then with me) has made a night and day difference in her behavior on walks, encountering other dogs and people she knows (and loved to jump on). Thanks to Jack, Caleb and James - I have a better understanding of how to communicate with Brooklyn in a way that brings our relationship to a much higher and better level. Thank you, PDA (Jack and Caleb!!)!!!!

James is a great trainer. We have sent him a few rescues who needed a little bit of help. All of the dogs are now thriving in their forever homes!

Great experience and amazing trainers helping us with our rescue pup. Within the first session we already have made huge progress toward potty training and major wins with obedience and safety. Not only do you get tips/tools/progress but the team is so caring and wonderful.

I would highly recommend James and Pawcific Dog Academy to anyone looking for a dog trainer. His incredible understanding of how dogs communicate has really helped me connect with my dogs effectively.James has helped me so much with both of my dogs - Eleven, my XL Dobie mix who came from the shelter with fear-based reactivity, and Theo, who I rescued from a puppy. With or without pre-existing behavior issues, James plays a key role in helping my dogs live as calm, well-mannered, happy members of society.James really knows his stuff. If you're looking for someone who truly understands dog and owner behavior and teaches in a clear and empowering way, he's the one to go to.

I was invited to a free group training with James. I already knew my dog needed far more training than one class and James helped answered all my questions regarding the program. I am thrilled to start my dog training with him, and I appreciate the free class that convinced me to join.
