Fantastic experience! Great sausages, amazing beer, and a really cool atmosphere with awesome decor. The owner and staff were incredible—so friendly and wonderful with our dog! Highly recommend this spot if you want great food, cold drinks, and a super welcoming vibe.

Okay y'all! If you ever happen to be in or passing through Marshall, TX it is worth a stop for dinner. Rueggenbach Brewery has a great selection of craft beers (I favor the Milk Stout) and some amazing German Style dishes. I had the Bratwurst Platter and my friend had the Rueggen on Rye. Who would have believed adding pineapple to a bratwurst would have been so delicious and their take on a Rueben sandwich was excellent. Combine all that with the rustic charm of the brewery being housed in the town's original fire department, views of the town's historic government building, and you have a recipe for success. Totally worth the stop.

We enjoy visiting local craft beer breweries while camping and love when we stumble across one that in all ways is exceptional. Rueggenbach deserves that rating. From the moment we walked in, the staff enthusiastically greeted us and offered beer samples. We chose a blonde ale and a milk stout, both delicious. Their beer offerings are pretty diverse. We had wings and a garlic hummus plate to accompany our drinks, selected from a menu that features a good selection of traditional pub foods. So yummy! The brewery space is fascinating, being in an old firehouse. The seating is comfortable and offers a place for couples like us or larger groups. There’s a great outdoor space on the third floor with excellent views of the square and its marvelous county seat structure. This brewery clearly appreciates and supports the community. This place is awesome and should not be missed in Marshall.

It's always a great place to spend time with friends or fly solo! Great food from Chef Austin, and out of this world, beers made right on the ground floor. It is a family oriented place with a twist of flair as well as a place to relax no difference to who you are.Update as requested by Google:Still an amazing place! As newbies to East Texas, we were so excited when we heard about Rueggenbach Brewing Co. in Marshall, TX. Our first visit happened to be during Rueggenfest 2026, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This place truly offers a little something for everyone.While our experience was a bit different from a typical Saturday afternoon visit because of the festival, we were so glad it worked out that way!First, the beer…just do it! We tried both the Hefeweizen and the milk stout, and both were fantastic.After exploring the festival, we decided to check out the brewery itself and restaurant, and we were incredibly impressed with how well the staff handled the large crows. Despite the influx of visitors, the kitchen was running smoothly, and the quality of the food and service never missed a beat.I ordered a burger, and honestly, it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had! The onion rings made it even better. We also tried the schnitzel, which met and exceeded our expectations.We will be back! Whether you are local or just passing through East Texas, Rueggenbach Brewing Co. is absolutely worth a stop. If you’re out exploring and looking for something new, add this place to your list. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
