I'd give Nate and Chaney Services 10 stars if that were an option! Nate resolved an issue with a1950s basement shower drain that had been plaguing me since 2005, one that other plumbers couldn't resolve or refused to look into. Nate took his time during the estimate and went over different options and scenarios. On the day of the work he arrived at the time promised and kept me informed during the work. The condition of the drain (broken and filled with mud and debris) was a total shock. All I could see was $$$ when he showed me. He talked through different options and said he had already allotted the estimated number of hours to the job and that he would continue working through that time. Surprisingly, a short time later he was able to dig further and cut the pipe to a point past the packed debris area. He fit new PVC pieces to our old cast iron drain and did a thorough test with a garden hose in the drain to check for any leaks around the connection and to make sure the water was draining properly. He back-filled the area he had dug and thoroughly cleaned the work area. When it came time for payment I was expecting an additional charge since the resulting work was somewhat more involved, but the fee was exactly as he had quoted. He even gave me a reference for a contractor that could cement a new base. Chaney Services is definitely going to be my go-to plumber from here out. Nate and Chaney Services - Professional, Knowledgeable and Reputable. Every service provider should strive to follow their ethics.

Mark texted when he was on his way and was very professional, communicated what was needed, and provided an estimate of the work before proceeding. He gave me a great deal of confidence the work would be done right. And as expected, the work was done as spelled out in estimate while also taking care to protect my home while doing the work. Very happy with the job that was done. The price was a bit more than expected especially given he wasn’t here that long but I imagine others would have charged as much as everything these days is more than I think it should be.

Nate is a first class tech !! Polite, on time, cleans up and most importantly he knows a variety of equipment. Had had repaired my water softener, installed a water under sink water filter system and now, has repaired my instant on water heater. Can’t say enough good about both Chaney and Nate
