I hired McDonald Construction to renovate my kitchen, which included removing a wall to create an open-concept space, replacing floor tile with hardwood floors, rerouting electrical wiring, and more. They have a large team, which helped the project move along efficiently and get completed quickly, while making sure we could still use the kitchen at the end of the day, for almost the entire time they were working here. Every member of the crew was professional and courteous throughout the process. I’d especially like to give a shoutout to Jeremy, who was particularly flexible, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. Their price was very fair and the final results are stunning. I would absolutely recommend their services.

Mike k and tanner p who came to check it out were friendly and explained well what they thought was going on. Really took their time here and did what they could to address my issue. However the initial install was botched and the window has been leaking for months now and the servce respone time is horrible. 3 star only for Mike and Tanner as they were great.

I have zero complaints on the job that was done. Patrick, JHhaz, Mike K.,Jason S., and Tanner P. are a great crew who came in this week to install new windows for my house. Even with the weather they worked hard and diligently to get the job done. I am a pet owner and the crew were all very kind to my pup and made sure to clean up well so there was nothing left for him to harm his paws on. A friendly and hardworking crew, I will definitely be recommending to anyone in need of new windows!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! I originally decided to work with McDonald Construction for an interior remodel including new layout of kitchen, bathroom, and dining room, because I was impressed with the time Jeff (owner) took with me during the estimate process and I liked his attention to detail.However when the job started I didn't realize Jeff wouldn't be involved much at all. Instead the Foreman running the job didn't share the same values as Jeff, He is actually a complete HACK and I would never let him in my home again.Jeff's price was by far not the cheapest but I thought it would be worth it for a job well done. Instead all the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC was done by the foreman who clearly has no business to be in that line of work. It was all done incorrectly, with many shortcuts taken. He also lied and cheated his way through every inspection process that clearly needed to be done.After many missed deadlines, a job that was estimated to take 8 weeks was stretched to over 20 weeks where I was finally forced to remove this company from the job and spend more time and money finishing with other contractors. After just a few short months I am already having issues with the work McDonald Construction performed.

We contacted McDonald Construction to repair a leak in our mudroom and build a custom built-in bench as a drop zone for our home. We have been so pleased by the quality of craftsmanship and customer service of the entire crew!Our leaky door had caused significant damage to the subfloor and they were able to make all repairs and salvage the vinyl flooring in the process. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and plan to hire them again for future projects! Excellent experience all around!

I cannot recommend McDonald Construction highly enough. From my first meeting with Jeff to the last day of clean up, I was extremely pleased with my interactions with him and his crew. My projects were a master bath remodel and a kitchen upgrade (counters, backsplash, sink, faucet, paint). During our initial meeting, Jeff was very helpful and made several suggestions to improve the projects, based on his experience. The crew was meticulous in their work, and the outcome shows. They kept disruption of my life and home at a minimum, kept me informed of their progress, checked with me if there were any questions. Their work turned out even better than I had imagined. I would give them 6 stars if that were an option!

Jeff and his team transformed my outdoor living space. They renovated my deck and the path around the house, which previously was in significant disrepair and unsafe. Jeff took the time to understand my interests, requirements of the HoA, and conducted quality control personally of all of the work throughout. My deck renovation presented some challenging limitations and he came up with a great solution that yielded a beautiful outdoor space. Similarly, the concrete path around the house was damaged significantly by water and the roots of a large dying tree over years. His team removed the remaining roots, and redirected the gutter downspout to avoid these issues damaging the path in future. His team, and partners, are professional, punctual, and considerate. They cleaned and organized the work area at the end of each day, even hosing down the side of the house, front door and porch, and door mat after completing the paver installation. Given the complexity of both halves of the project and timing, we broke the project into two phases, but it was well worth the wait to get both the deck and path done right, in the end. It was a pleasure working with Jeff and his team and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Jeff and team are excellent. Responsive and skilled in their crafts. They fixed a badly installed master shower floor for us (PREVIOUS OWNERS seem to have hired “their drunk nephew” to do many projects around here and that “drunk nephew forgot to water proof the shower floor and surround).Andy had his work cut out for him due to the water damage caused by the previous installer’s failure to waterproof a shower. He waterproofed as much as possible without needing to demolish the whole bathroom. He left the work space tidy every day and the finished product is perfect. Seriously beautiful work.Will gladly hire them again when we are ready for our full bathroom remodel.

The quote/price for the whole bathroom, including electrical, was the same price as other quotes for only the shower. The design went by quickly and smoothly. The installer was very knowledgeable and gave very welcome recommendations. The end results look better than I expected. The only negatives I have are that it took a while to start (they needed to work on the projects first) and it took longer than expected. Overall, I would gladly recommend them to any friends and family for the outstanding interactions and quality of work.
