I worked with Jack Ogus for approximately two months for marketing services, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.Communication and availability were major concerns. Jack was often difficult to reach, and when calls were scheduled, they felt rushed and unproductive. On multiple occasions, we received emails stating he was out of town and unavailable to respond for extended periods.During the engagement, we also experienced an issue where inquiries appeared to be misdirected. We received repeated calls intended for a different business. When we clarified that we were a different accounting firm, the potential clients were confused and chose not to proceed. This raised concerns about how leads were being managed.Another major concern was that our business phone number was not used in the marketing setup. Instead, their own phone number was placed as the contact number. We were uncomfortable with this, as it created further confusion, reduced transparency, and did not reflect our business branding or allow potential clients to save our number and contact us directly in the future if they wished to do so.We were also pressured to purchase Google Ads through him rather than directly through Google, even though we had received a strong promotional offer from Google itself. This was uncomfortable, as we preferred direct control over our advertising account, transparency in spending, and the ability to use promotions available to our business.Despite a significant investment over the two-month period, we did not see any measurable results—no increase in leads or business growth. When this was raised, we were told that a minimum of six months was required to begin seeing results, which was also not guaranteed.It felt less like an investment in growing our business and more like we were providing funds that primarily benefited his own interests rather than delivering clear value or results for ours.Overall, there was a lack of transparency regarding the work being done, limited availability, and insufficient clarity throughout the process. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend these services.
