I just completed this bartending course and couldn’t recommend it more. Nate was an incredible instructor—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the craft. He broke down classic cocktails in a way that was easy to understand and immediately applicable. I’m leaving the course feeling confident behind the bar with a solid foundation in classics and technique. A great experience from start to finish.

This Bartending School has brought my home-cocktailing to the next level, and given me a good base for if I was to pursue work behind a bar in the future. It is as close to a "Mixology Certificate" as you are going to find. Being able to work with real alcohol behind a bar - learning proper balance, techniques, and tools - is something anyone looking to learn cocktailing would be interested in. Tasting some not-so-common spirits - that are essential to making the real original recipes for some of the world's oldest cocktails - was very satisfying. Nate knows his stuff and has spent the time researching, practicing, and experiencing the world of alcohol and bartending enough to be able to answer anything you could ask. My only gripe is that I wish the course was longer; for more experience with what I've listed above. I have learned that there are quite a few recipes to memorize and master. Cheers.

I LOVE the course! Nate is a great instructor and made the class fun and very very enjoyable.Class size was perfect, everyone had a chance to practice with real alcohol (NOT color water 🤣), so we had a chance to taste what the cocktails would be like.I had sooo much fun with my classmates and I am glad that I took this course with Nate!!Thumbs up!!!!!

Every teacher in this course, whether it be Nate or any of the guest instructors, are all clearly extremely knowledgeable in their fields but still able to communicate the information in a way that makes it easy to stick, and fun to learn, even for someone with absolutely no prior experience. I honestly cannot recommend this program enough to anyone who is thinking about working in the industry, or who just wants to pick up a new and exciting hobby. I’d take it again a million times over given the chance!

I had an very fun time at the Nimble bartending school, it was everything I had hoped for and more :)All the classes were informative and taught in a way that was easy for me to remember, and the teachers were all very helpful and passionate about their craft. It was an inspiring and enjoyable time that was well worth the investment!I started as a hobbyist and left with the foundation for something of an international skill set that I'll keep building for my future 😁

One of the best things I did for myself was take this course. Being able to taste all the different spirits and fortified wines etc, was a game changer. Looking at where I was at the start of the 6 week course and where I am now is all thanks to this course. Nate was an awesome teacher to say the least and his hands on teaching style worked very well for me. I could go on and on about the amazing work nimble is doing in Victoria but to sum it up if you’re interested in the world of bartending this is the course for you -Dylan

The Nimble Bar Co. bartender training course exceeded all of my expectations. The course content was presented in an exceptionally well organized and relevant way. The learning environment was perfect with a mix of lectures, presentations and hands-on practice. I took Nimble early in the pandemic to fortify my current bartending skills and add more arrows to my quiver. My biggest take away was The Five and how a small simple list of cocktails becomes hundreds of other cocktails by simply changing one or two ingredients. I've used The Five to teach hundreds of people how to create many of the classic cocktails as well as new custom cocktails.Kyle and Nate are highly respected mentors in the bar industry and I can't recommend enough to anyone, professional or amateur, how essential this course is to leveling up your bartending craft.

Nimble bar school was one of the best things about my Summer - it had been on my bucket list for awhile. I got to totally nerd out with like-minded cocktail enthusiasts. I loved learning about the DNA of basic cocktails - how to quickly swap out an ingredient or two to make a completely new drink. The instructor challenged us but was also super supportive. Honestly, I can't recommend it enough. If you enjoy making drinks but want a deeper dive, I highly recommend checking out the course.

This is a course that is an antidote to the classic bar school stigma. Courses are comprehensive, fun, and challenging with homework and fieldwork designed to help round out the skills and knowledge gained in class. Both Kyle and Nate have an incredible skill sets and a wealth of knowledge which they are enthusiastic to share with everyone. Would highly recommend to anyone who is interested from a complete beginner to current bartender.

We did a virtual Classic Cocktail night for a friend's birthday and it was fantastic good fun! The teacher was great, and we learned (and drank) a lot! Would totally recommend this as a great way to learn some of the basics of good bartending.
