Off and on for years, but more so since this summer, I have had issues with what I thought were shin splints. Every time I thought I had allowed enough time for it to heal and it seemed good, the nagging pain would come back. When I saw an ad for Custom Performance and PT intro running analysis, I jumped on it. Lindsey even responded to me after business hours to listen to my issue and set up my initial appointment. Before even seeing me, she didn’t think the issue was shin splints. When we finally met in person, and she looked at my posture/stance and heard my history and all of my issues, she then confidently stated that I did not have shin splints. After recording me running from four different angles, she broke down everything she saw, and then did an analysis on the table. She was able to determine that my recurring lower leg pain was stemming from pelvic rotation (left hip was higher than right). She did manual work on me and gave me daily exercises to do. Within ONE WEEK my posture and running technique had improved, which she was able to see from videos I took of myself. So far I’ve had two sessions and am noticing improvement.
If you have a nagging injury that won’t go away, I cannot recommend Lindsey enough! She is friendly, patient, kind, and very knowledgeable.
