We adopted a special needs Sheepadoodle who is deaf, has limited sight, has been neglected and treated badly in her short life. When we brought her home, we were at a loss of how to handle her - she is an adorable wild child, who could become destructive and bite without notice. We reached out to several trainers and explained our predicament, and MC K9 Training was the only one who was daring enough to respond. We took our dog to his facility, not knowing if anyone could help her be calm and respond to a human. She had barked and viciously attacked the back seat on the way, and we thought all hope was gone. She bounced out of the car and pulled us to Cameron. He has us watch as he dealt with her. Within minutes, he had her calm, listening (even though she is deaf) and looking at him … I felt like he was our local ‘dog whisperer’! Cameron spent time with her and she entire countenance changed with the way he handled her. For the first time, we felt like maybe it would be possible to have our new adoptee become a member of our family. He gave us some helpful homework and tips to use at home until formal training would begin. We asked about trying to help her on the ride home so she wouldn’t charge and attack in the car, and he offered a great piece of wisdom - one of us should sit next to her in the back seat. The thought made me a little nervous since I was afraid she would hurt me, but I agreed and she was absolutely perfect and we arrived home without incident. We would highly recommend Cameron at MC K9 Training for pet owners who need help with their dog. My wife and I reached out to MC K9 Training after bringing home an Aussie puppy with a very high drive. With two young children in the home, we were quickly overwhelmed with all the typical Aussie puppy behavior. After a few sessions with Cameron and four weeks of boarding with him, he came home a completely different dog. Much more in control of himself, recalling well, giving space to the kids and cats and just overall much more manageable for my wife and I. Cameron absolutely delivered on his promise and continues to be there as we have questions and are in need of advice. After seeing the change he was able to bring in our puppies behavior, we plan on continuing to work with MC K9 well into the future to make our Aussie the best version of himself he can be. Cameron’s facilities are great and our puppy was clearly happy in the environment and even watched out the window crying as Cameron left the day he dropped him back off to us. You can’t go wrong here.

We sent our 1.5-year-old Lab to Cameron for a 4-week board and train, and the results have been incredible. Our dog learned basic obedience, and his leash walking, “place” commands and recall have improved drastically. Cameron is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer any questions we have.He continues to check in and has been a great resource even after training ended. We now board our dog with him when we travel, which gives us peace of mind knowing he’s in a familiar environment with someone he trusts. Highly recommend Cameron to anyone looking for professional, reliable dog training!

Cameron is simply amazing. He has worked wonders with our two dogs! Such an improvement with the way our dogs act and behave. We did the private training for our dogs. I highly recommend him to train your dog, you will not regret it!!!
