Probably the best place to go on a Friday or Saturday night to get some good clean family-friendly laughs! I've been going to this company for years, and they never disappoint! We hosted a fundraiser at this location and it was absolutely amazing. The staff bent over backwards to make our experience great and the performers were hilarious. Unfortunately there was no signage on the building which made it hard for our guests to locate it. I'm guessing that will eventually be corrected, but just know it's directly east of Bass Pro shop and directly across from the "brass tap" bar. Definitely worth a trip out. Funny, funny stuff. Less

We have been to Jesterz a number of times- most of them when they still performed in Scottsdale. Although all shows are family friendly, we felt the later show was mostly adults which made it great for a date night. Last weekend we invited three other couples to meet us at Jesterz for their only show time of 7:00. Half the crowd were children and apparently their parents did not bother to teach them theater etiquette. They couldn’t sit in their seats and every time there was audience participation solicited, they screamed their answers over and over to be heard above the crowd. Even a child was invited on stage to participate in a skit. It felt like I was at Peter Piper Pizza at a child’s birthday party. I am happy that families can participate in this activity together but it is definitely not a venue for adults anymore. Sadly, I do not think we will be returning. The comedy was good but the children ruined the experience for all 8 of us. Less

The atmosphere was fantastic!!! It is definitely a clean show which is awesome, but the trouble comes in that they weren't comical most of the time. The entertainment was not worth the money. There were humorous moments, but I would have probably laughed harder hanging out with family or friends. A couple of the "Jesterz" we're obviously more talented but they were spending entirely too much time trying to cover for those that weren't. Less

Definitely don't think it's worth almost $20 per person but there were a few laughs. I get that it's hard to do and I give them props for getting up there but it was obvious that at least two of the comedians didn't get along. We have been twice and laughed out heads off through a 2 hour improv. The JesterZ are simply brilliant at times, quick on their feet, and the MC keep the crowd engaged and constantly participating. Best of all it is clean, family friendly humor, great for families and a night out. Less

I have been to many JesterZ Improv shows and have never been disappointed. The improv shows are always hysterical. The show this weekend was a fun twist of the normal JesterZ show. They did stand-up comedy and hit it out of the park. I wish they would do it more often. I laughed from deep within my gut as if the lion of my bowels erupted like a hilarious volcano. Based on the reviews, I suspect their improv is very entertaining. Unfortunately, tonight (Dec 15) they decided to ditch the improv and try stand-up comedy instead. While I can't speak for the whole show, what we did see, before leaving, wasn't funny. They seem like a good group of people, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of one. If you're planning to check them out, I would definitely call and verify they're doing improv on the night you're going. Less

It was really good quality fun. They have to keep things family friendly and because of that they get pretty clever. We had a really good cast who each held their own comedic weight and we loved the games they picked. It felt fine tuned and was a joy to watch. They also are really good at how they ask for suggestions. If you are thinking of going the answer is yes. And if you went in the past when they were in Scottsdale be prepared to be blown by how much they improved and how great their venue is. Less

Frankly the few times I've been there I wasn't laughing out of my chair but did enjoy the entertainment. Improv is always a great experience. It was a fun night. It was our first time there. We enjoyed it. A couple of things that detracted from the fun... one of the performers struggled to come up with ideas, kept drawing blanks, but the lady performer more than made up for his lack. She was the best one. We also enjoyed the performance of a previous performer that was in town for a visit so he joined the cast. He was also great. Another distraction was some of kids in the audience almost took over the audience participation. I'm pretty sure they were related to the one performer that was lacking because at one point, two jesters (the names for the performers) went into the audience to become "hecklers" and one of the kids jumped up and ran and stood behind him and was hugging him from behind. Overall, it was fun. It was a good way to spend Thanksgiving. I just expected it to be funnier. Less
