Dr. Nikki was recommended to me by my son’s Occupational Therapist as being “The best PhysicalTherapist I have ever worked with.” I had been working with this O.T. for over 20 years and she hadnever recommended anyone to me before, so this was high praise! I knew that my son would benefitfrom a P.T. coming into my home to work one on one with my son, but I was concerned about the costof the therapy sessions.Fast forward to three months later. My son, who has many medical problems, was gradually havingdifficulty in standing and walking. He had been able to walk easily until this time, but none of thephysicians could determine what the problem was and how they could help him. One horrible weekend,my son could not stand up for three straight days. We spent three whole days and nights on the floor, inhis room, unable to move his legs, nor stand. After many, many hours of total anxiety and tears, I toldmyself, “Call that new therapist! What is money, really? Wouldn’t you rather have him being able tostand and walk?”I called Dr. Nikki and set up an appointment in my home. She began to work with my son two times aweek. Quite quickly, to be candid, we began to see improvements. My son’s nurses all commented tome that “Dr. Nikki is wonderful! She really knows how to use his strengths and come up with acreative plan to help him work on his goals. I am so glad you hired her!”Within three short months, my son could actually STAND UP in the middle of the room, on his own,without holding on to anything at all. I was in tears, but happy ones this time!Over the past two years, we have seen my son do amazing things that I never thought were possible. Dr.Nikki’s strength is her totally creativity in adapting to any situation and coming up with a fun, uniqueplan to help my son reach here or there or anywhere! Absolutely worth it! Even if you already have state-provided EI, Dr. Nikki offers additional tips and strategies that really make a difference. She worked with my son for torticollis and went above and beyond in supporting his development!
