The render with texture coating on our house had developed bubbles, flaking and cracks due to moisture as well as having had various patches done over the years. The difference between a professional plasterer and an artisan plasterer is attention to detail. Brendan is the consummate artisan plasterer. We had a external texture coat rehabilitation job and it was a pleasure to deal with Brendan from my initial query. Brendan was an excellent communicator, as well as being an artisan plasterer. Brendan and his team were absolute life savers. We had previously hired another renderer who was rude and difficult and did a terrible job. He was supposed to do our texture coat but after too many issues and huge anxieties we did not proceed. This left us in a predicament as we had already relived all our gutters.We randomly found Brendan on line and explained the issues and the urgency of our job. He came round the very next day and after shuffling some things around, they got started that very day. He was so nice to deal with, a breath of fresh air after the previous guy. The anxiety I had previously had, fell away as I could tell we were in good hands with a professional and genuinely decent bloke.The canvas we gave him to work with (the render already applied by the previous guy) was less than ideal to put it mildly. But they went above and beyond fixing up everything they could to the best they could giving us sound advice along the way.His price was very reasonable, especially for a last minute job. The attention to deal was excellent, his team was respectful and polite and we are so happy with the finished product. They left no mess and it was a truly great experience.
