This garage is superb.. I specifically want to say how amazing the lady called Danielle was. I had come from south wales in holiday and had problems with a car i had bought . What a wonderful human being she is she went above and beyond to help me.. there are many garages in the area and for some reason I chose this one and thankgod I did.. what a wonderful bunch they are and would highly recommend. If they were my garage in south wales I'd use them all the time.

1st class service. I couldn’t have got a better service elsewhere. From the minute I called for an appointment to book my car in, Danielle was so professional and knowledgeable in dealing with the problem and completely understood what I was explaining to her. Danielle kindly booked my car in and it was diagnosed in the same day by mechanic Curtis who was also knowledgeable and pleasant. I couldn’t have asked for a better overall service. After visiting my local Honda garage with an air conditioning problem on my Honda which they failed to diagnose properly I went to Shaws. After doing a full and thorough diagnosis they identified the problem which they sorted for me all at a fair price. All through the process I was kept informed by text and email by Danielle and was pleasantly pleased with a box of chocolates when I picked my car up.

Took my car here for interim service and brake fluid check and replacement fluid booked in for 10.30am as I work nights dropped my car off bang on time the receptionist said the guys are just finishing up on another car so I said ok and left. You can track the service live and a few hours later I noticed they still hadn't started and the receptionist text about 1.28pm saying they are running behind.so I text saying I hate time can I pick it up as I have work later and she text saying she will find out asap. Then about 5 mins later text me saying we close at 5pm so it will be 5pm at the latest. At 1.45 she said she will let me know when it's ready I didn't hear anything so I text at 3.40pm asking if there's any news on my car. Then at 4.05pm she replied saying they are just finishing off and to pick up about 4.30pm so I got there for about 4.40pm walked in the mechanic was there and receptionist and didn't apologize and just gave me the paperwork and a small box of chocolates. So drove my car home and I noticed scuff marks and drivers side on the inside on door and in footwell near door where the mechanic has been getting in and out and a oil finger print on the interior near the windscreen. Then on passenger side door I noticed an inch scratch near the handle on outside of car. I know it definitely wasn't there before I dropped the car off and I know they will deny they did it. When I went back on their website they say no upselling but when I booked the service the woman upselles the brake fluid check and fluid replacement at £100 extra. So in all it cost me nearly £340 and after speaking to people everyone has said they seen me coming. Very overpriced and bad service

Booked my car in for a service, first time visit to Shaws. From the moment I arrived the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I have often found with car garages you don't get a very warm welcome but this was different. The receptionist was lovely and was willing to help with any questions or issues I had. They kept me informed via phone on my progress which helped as I had just finished a nightshift so was eager to get home. Service was fast and efficient. I was offered a complementary hot or cold drink. They found an issue with my bulb and fixed it straight away for me there was a slight delay due to my car but the staff kept me informed and apologised for the delay which was not a problem for me. As it was my first visit I also got a lovely box of chocolates for booking with them which I thought was such a lovely touch. I would recommend this garage to anyone and will be using them now for any future MOT/service and general issues with my car.

I chose Shaws from a Google search for an MOT after seeing they were a HEVRA garage and had awesome reviews. Despite being about 25 mins drive from home, it was well worth the journey. The MOT tester was sick on the day but to ensure I hadn’t wasted a day off work, the garage owner came in and conducted the test on his day off. This was the best example of quality of service and care Shaw’s reviews suggested. I’ll be back for all our EV and ICE car service needs. Five stars.

Had some work that needed doing on our car that was found on our MOT managed to quote us for the work and fit us in quickly. All through the process we was kept up date either by the link to our phone or speaking to Danielle who was very friendly, professional and reassured us plus nothing was to much trouble and was will to answer any queries we had. On collection the price ended up being less than quoted which was also great. We will definitely be using this garage in future, thank you and thank you for the chocolates they were a nice touch and enjoyed mostly by my daughter 🤣
