Such a great experience with Serena. We have a retired racing greyhound who came to us with some difficulty with other dogs and no leash experience. He would be very stressed and over excited in public spaces or out on walks. As a result of his racing history he had poor dog etiquette, often resulting in him amping up other dogs on accident. We did Serenas intensive in home training with follow up adventure walks and he is a new man! He is now very well behaved on the leash and in public and more importantly very relaxed and calm. He is able to interact with other dogs much more appropriately and we understand the cues to support him.We also just had a baby and wanted to be able to include him in family activities which he now very politely and calmly can join us in. It took only a few sessions to see a difference and after 4 weeks I feel like we have witnessed a total personality change. Serena is professional and confident and very knowledgeable. I highly tecommend her especially if you have a retired racer or just generally socially awkward sight hound. She has absolutely exceeded what we thought possible with him!

We almost never do online reviews, but we would like to completely recommend Serena at Serene Sighthounds.Our Blue is a rescue Weimaraner, not a sighthound - but his poor start in life making him reactive to (mainly) other dogs, has kept him in a very small bubble since his gotcha day just over a year ago, as walking him in public spaces was virtually impossible.The very first day Serena met him for a ‘trial’ lesson to see if her training skills might help, we had him out in public walking on a slip lead and later on with his ecollar!!!After trying several trainers and online trainers with small but limited successes, Serena’s training has genuinely been a life changer!After just 4 weeks of weekly lessons, Blue has just been away with us on a 5 day trip in different ‘home’ environments and with different people, many of whom he’d never met before and he’s been amazing.I previously had no opinion for or against using ecollars but having seen the level of stimulation (we can’t feel it at all at his working level - and even at twice his level it just feels like a little tap or tingle) - we wouldn’t ever have had anything against it. And to be fair, any anti-ecollar attitude would suggest ignorance rather than experience.So yes, we have no hesitation at all in recommending Serene Sighthounds or ecollar training to anyone and everyone (in fact we already have, several times!) Serena is a genuine dog whisperer.Thanks for giving us and our boy some freedom at last! 🙌🙌🙌

Serena has been so helpful with my sweet new adolescent whippet, we had some struggles with the crate and we’re working through some puppy excitement on leash- plus my million and one questions! Serena has been invaluable- answering all my questions and making sure I understand and being incredibly accommodating. I adore watching her gorgeously trained hounds on socials! Absolutely recommend for anyone with a sighthound who wants honest, clear and caring communication and help from a very dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced trainer!
