We have visited your restaurant three times because we genuinely liked the food. In fact, we liked it so much that we invited our colleagues for dinner. Unfortunately, that visit was very disappointing. We ordered two different chicken curries, but both tasted almost identical and were not at all like the quality we had experienced during our previous visits. We politely informed the waitress, and she apologized and assured us that the issue would be looked into. The next time we visited with our friends, we simply wanted to inform the chef about our previous experience so that the same mistake would not happen again. We were not asking for anything unreasonable. Instead of listening to our feedback, the chef became argumentative, defensive, and visibly angry. He kept saying that nobody had ever complained before, that he had been cooking for a long time, and told us not to teach him his job. This was extremely unprofessional and disappointing.A good chef or restaurant should value customer feedback. If regular customers are taking the time to point out an issue, it should be seen as an opportunity to improve, not as a personal attack. What upset us wasn't just the food—it was the attitude. We were also asked questions like, "Where are you from?" Honestly, why does that matter? We came to your restaurant as customers to enjoy a meal. If we didn't like something, we have every right to express our opinion respectfully. Our feedback should not depend on where we come from.Your food may still be good, but customer service and respect are just as important. A restaurant earns loyal customers not only through good food but also through the way it treats them. It felt like, because the restaurant is busy and has plenty of customers, genuine feedback is no longer valued. That kind of arrogance can damage a good reputation.Sadly, after this experience, I will not be visiting again, and neither will the friends and colleagues I recommended your restaurant to. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously, pays closer attention to consistency in food quality, and trains the staff including the chef to handle customer feedback professionally and respectfully.Thank you for reading. I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve the overall experience for future customers.
