You see my son and his girlfriend were killed in a black ice car accident 8 years ago a few miles from where he played. His cat was my constant companion, she was still a part of my son. She was a last connection to him. The loss I was feeling came quick and unexpectedly hard. Thank you Kostia for making this hard night a celebration. We first met Kostia performing in Dansville at a friends restaurant. We were instantly obsessed and followed him around to different venues. He then came to play at our home last Fourth of July On Conesus Lake, which drew in about 100 of our neighbors. He has played at our daughter‘s wedding, our friends 60th birthday and many other very happy occasions. Anyone who can extend help to this Ukrainian musician would be an investment in our collective cultural future. I would love nothing more than for him to be able to come back to the US and play for us again. Kostia preformed at Wegmans yesterday. Definitely changed the shopping experience for the better. He is amazing.
