If I could give zero stars, I would.We specifically asked if they provided a certain service, and they assured us they did—so we booked the appointment. On the day of the service, we were told we needed new sprinkler heads, which cost over $260. That didn’t fix the issue. Then they quoted us $825 for a valve replacement—more than double what other companies charge—for a valve that had just been replaced less than a week ago. We were still left with the same problem.To make things worse, we were finally told that if it was a leak, we’d need to call a leak detection specialist because they weren’t certified to do that. That’s the exact service we asked for when we booked.After several phone calls and a follow-up text—which wasn’t responded to —they refused to offer a refund or even a solution.If you enjoy being misled, overcharged, and ignored, this is the company for you. While Davonzia arrived a little later than the scheduled window, he was very efficient. He systematically checked the potential causes and quickly discovered the problem was a leak. A sprinkler head was accidentally damaged when Mansfield City dug up the lawn to fix a sewer pipe. He proved it by using his finger while the station was active. Davonzia dug up the area and replaced the sprinkler head. He covered the area and did a final test. Finally, he taught me how to use the control panel to do my tests. Always, Davonzia was friendly and polite. I was very impressed. He was the most efficient irrigation tech I've seen. I would highly recommend Lone Star Irrigation. Less

Address given to technician was wrong so the initial estimate service call was off the ageed upon schedule. I kept this rating a 3 instead of a 2 because of the professionalism of the technician.The price was very steep at fixing 2 small leaks at over $1400. I was thinking considerably less like around $350 ($500 max). To put this into perspective, a considerable amount of much more involved automotive repair can be done at less than $1400 labor. Too high, can afford it but just will not stand for being gouged on principle. Less

Do not use this company. They are extremely overpriced. I had them come out for an inspection of my sprinkler system and I was told that they would need to replace 1 sprinkler head that was leaking and that they would like to install another sprinkler head that reached 15 feet in one area of my yard (2 sprinkler heads in total). They ended up charging g me for 6 sprinkler heads which I didn’t realize until after they left and my bill was over $700 for some very minor repairs. I will never use them again. Less

Hakeem came out a few weeks ago after I called this company because it appeared I had a busted sprinkler head. Upon scheduling the appointment, it gave me a heads up I would be charged a service call charge (that could later be used against my invoice for service and I was okay with that), but what bugged me is it asked for a 5 star review in order to get $20 off the service. I didn't take advantage of this because I wanted to see what they charged first. Glad I didn't and after getting the quote, I realized they have a high Google rating because of this little trick to boost their ratings.Hakeem surveyed my various zones and determined that I had 4 sprinkler heads that were malfunctioning. Mind you I had just had a professional landscape designer install my new yard in late May of this year and they adjusted all of my irrigation. The sprinkler head in question was gushing water so I knew something was wrong and needed to be repaired. Instead of Hakeem suggesting to fix this main concern and see if it fixed the other sprinkler heads never even came up. I had a feeling the pressure lost from the broken one was probably causing the issue for the others. After getting a quote for $111/sprinkler head and some sort of pressure gauge he said I needed for $70, the quote came to just shy of $500. I politely declined because I know sprinkler heads are $3-4 each so thought this was a total price gouging situation. Hakeem left.My husband dug the broken head area up today only to discover it needed a .74 cent piece to repair it. He bought the part at Lowe's and now all sprinkler heads are back to working properly. They also said I had a head in the back that was leaking. This was part of the quote from above. My husband walks in backyard and tightens the head and it magically stopped leaking.Just giving everyone a heads up that this company over charges and is not exactly forthcoming and honest with their approach. It feels like he saw a woman who didn't know anything about irrigation other than to know to refuse a high quote. Husband came in and repaired easily without having any deep knowledge of irrigation! Lone Star Irrigation did a wonderful job in solving a difficult water leak that was flooding my neighbors yard. Christopher had to dig down between the 2 fences for the first leak. The second leak was very time consuming, involving a damaged french drain. I'm impressed with Christopher's competence and efficiency. Overall, I'm very satisfied. We had a tech come out to repair a broken electrical cover and wire repair in yard. After paying $375 we found that he just used our old electrical cover we had told him didn't fit and packed mud and grass around it so we couldn’t see it still didn’t fit. I called office and was told to send pictures. I sent multiple pictures and even showed them that the cover he used was my old one. It still had the online store sticker on it underneath. A few days later the technician called me accusing me of being a liar, got very combative, and kept changing his story to blame anything but his poor execution. I called to speak to manager and she told me she would look into it. Since then I haven’t heard a work from them and they won’t take my phone calls. I sent a message to the owner and still have yet to hear anything back. I’m not asking for a hand out- I’m just wanting someone to come look at the job he did and verify this is the level of service they provide regularly. We will not be using this company for any of our company jobs or home jobs ever again. I’m disappointed in the customer service and their quickness to cover it up and turn it around that it’s my fault. Less

I had Lone Star Irrigation come out and do an end-of-year check-up. My system was working fine. They left after claiming some repairs were needed so we agreed. Two days later one of our zones stopped working. Now they return and claim that a valve is faulty and the cost would be $800+ this is after they had hosed us for almost $300. Don't do business with this company. Every time I try to get a person on the phone, it's a subcontractor who tells me to call the office. Beware this company is scamming customers Less

What a scam! Sent a request for pre visit rating. If I gave a 5 star rating I would get 20$ off diagnostics. We're prompt in answering phone and scheduling. Went through my 15 station system and informed me I had a small leak at one of the stations and needed some rotors and 6 heads replaced. I asked price and they wanted 2900$!!I said a few years ago I had 27 heads replaced for 458$. He told me they were " just keeping up with the industry" charged a reasonable 125$ for diagnostic with 10 off for check. Where's the 20$ for pre review? Less

I had a broken connection from the main pipe to sprinkler system due to the weather on one of the coldest days. Michael did not hesitate to show up to see what the issue was and proceeded to fix the leak and bring sprinkler system up to code.
