We met several times prior to the main event and went over playlists, features, packages, extras, our “do not play list” and so much freaking more.On a day where you want everything to go right, he was one thing we never had to worry about. I’ve been delaying this review to hopefully get our final photos out but maybe I can update it afterwards so people can see the moment he helped us create.I’ll be the first to say he wasn’t the cheapest, but HANDS DOWN was the best bang for our buck! Mark's kindness, humor, and professionalism created a warm and relaxed atmosphere, ensuring that my wedding day was filled with cherished memories. I was particularly touched by his choice to play a Billy Joel song toward the end of the reception (I even smiled and pointed to him, but I wasn't sure if he noticed that!). It's a favorite of my mom's, and the timing was so perfect that I felt it was a special moment, even if he wasn't aware of its significance. They stand on their reputation to host and provide amazing experiences and atmospheres, and I was so truly impressed and happy that I had this on my wedding day! As an anxious person there is always a trust factor when it comes to hiring all your vendors, and I was blown away with how the day flowed, matched our personalities and preferences, and made me feel like I had the best party ever; he just absolutely hit a home run on the day.They made our wedding day truly amazing. We hired the Simple Dj for our wedding last fall. We couldn't be more appreciative of Danny and his thoroughness throughout the entire process. We were pretty overwhelmed with all of the planning but knowing that such a vital part of our big day was going to be handled by Danny and the Simple Dj put our minds at ease.The day of our wedding we had some issues that threw off the time table. Danny came and helped us not only navigate the delays and keep our guests entertained and up to date but also reassured us that everything would be ok. Which meant the world to my wife and I.As for the reception, I just don't think we could've found a better option than the simple DJ. From the lighting, sound quality, music selection, aesthetics, professionalism, and kindness. Our guests loved it we ended up extending the reception longer than initially planned because everyone was having such a good time.To those reading this who are on the fence of hiring the Simple DJ for your big day. Please do not underestimate the importance of a top quality DJ. They handle so much more than just playing some music. They truly are such a big part of the day and the glue that can make or break your wedding. And there is nothing "simple" about the Simple DJ they do everything and more. They handle so many things that I would've never thought about and make sure the flow of the day is perfect. I loved using their online portal to plan everything from my music preferences, song choices, wedding timeline, and details about the day. They had great communication leading up to the wedding and were flexible with any changes I had. We hired The Simple DJ for our wedding this past weekend and I cannot say enough good things. We didn't have Danny LaPlante as our DJ but he still played a significant role in our planning process. He responded quickly, provided great suggestions, kept us on track, and always made it known to us that he is always there to help us and he REALLY was. Our DJ was Spencer Jackson and he was amazing and incredibly talented. We always had people on our dance floor and we got SO many compliments throughout the night about how fun and great our DJ was.
