I had an amazing experience with Todd at Livin' Salty SUP & Surf Shop! I brought in my inflatable paddleboard because I was having issues with the air valve, and Todd was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.He took the time to explain how the valve works, its typical lifespan, and what was happening with mine compared to how it should function. After inspecting it, he discovered that the only issue was a loose screw that simply needed to be tightened—an easy fix that saved me from replacing parts unnecessarily.It's clear that Todd is passionate about paddleboarding and genuinely wants to help people get back out on the water. I really appreciated his honesty, expertise, and willingness to educate me instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need.I'll definitely be back if I ever have any more paddleboard issues. Where to begin? A friend casually mentioned Todd’s shop, Livin’Salty, right after my inflatable exploded on 4th of July. I needed a board and she suggested him. I had started the process elsewhere but once I met Todd at the shop on Drew St, I knew where I was getting my next board! We went on a board trial yesterday with a couple boards and I chose one. I went back today and bought this beauty. For over two hours, Todd patiently explained loading the board on my car roof, helped adjust the racks, watched as stubborn 5’2” of me insisted on doing the job and cheered my success. He is patient and pulls no BS in the process. He wants a happy paddler when all is said and done. You can’t go wrong with Todd and Livin’ Salty!
