Really happy a month in and would recommend anyone try Logic for their first BJJ experiences. I tried at the advice of a friend so I jumped into the white belt class. First experience with anything is nerve racking jumping in but they were super accommodating. Instructor made a point to tell my partners it was my first class. After jumping in I like that the class is all White Belts. Everyone is learning and after ~20 different sparing partners I haven’t squared up with anyone who is trying to be a hero and increase the risk I get hurt. It’s been a great differentiation to my workouts - HIIT like cardio and functional strength reinforcement. Less

I started this journey into Muay Thai pretty late but I'm glad I finally did. Dennis, the boss, convinced me to join this club 6 months ago, and since then I feel that I've significantly improved my cardiovascular health as well as my overall mobility. They've built a great community around health, fitness, and a team mentality, improving not only my physical health but also my mental health. I've never been in better shape in my entire life. This is absolutely the place to be at regardless of your level in martial arts. The staff that runs logic really take it to another level when they say “ we’re a family.” As a beginner I never expected to have the support they gave me, from answering all my questions no matter how simple they seemed to texting me personally when I wasn’t able to show up as often, logic really takes your development as a martial artists but also as a person into great consideration and it speaks volumes about the quality of their teaching as well as the people they truly are. They maintain a fantastic gym culture full of camaraderie and intensity, each staff member has an extensive knowledge of jiu jitsu and do an excellent job of conveying their teaching as well. Logic is run by the only world champion in Philly. The facility is clean with showers and large locker room unlike most other gyms in the area that are actually pretty dirty. Parking is a HUGE plus! 💪 Less

Amazing place to get started with martial arts, especially BJJ. I started BJJ at Logic as a first timer about a month ago. I chose Logic for its location, schedule, cleanliness, and instructors. Originally, I had a lot of anxiety about getting started with BJJ, but it evaporated pretty much upon walking into the gym. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Logic. My daughter has trained for a few years, but when she began training at Logic it was as though all the puzzle pieces finally came together. Exceptional staff, from the front desk to the coaches. Every single person in there works together and you can tell just by the environment. The owners, Kristian and Brandi Woodmansee, listen to their students and customers. They provide a location that’s clean, welcoming, safe for both men and women, and jam packed with knowledgeable people. They also include a small corner with coloring books and activities for children waiting on parents or younger siblings. They truly cover all the bases. Really nice friendly people and super helpful. I trained in many schools and this is by far my favorite gym.The gym is super clean with nice showers is a huge plus instruction is top notch and overall I just had a lot of fun can’t wait to come back. I attended Logic while traveling for work. My goal was to find a place where I could put real training in for the evening, with invested instruction, at a gym that didn’t make me feel like an outsider. I also wanted a place to spar. Let me start by saying, I plan to go back. The instruction was spot on, I had teachers coming up to me suggesting updates to my technique- it felt like I was receiving 1:1 instruction at times. When it got to sparring, I felt motivated and like I was part of the team, the owner, Kristian, made sure of it by reminding everyone there was a guest (thank you). As a female who trains, it’s not always easy to find gyms that are welcoming, and Logic was. The time there was legit (and tough) training, just what I was hoping for.
