Since then, I have been trying to resolve issues related to two tax bills—one received before the property assessment by the city and another after the assessment. I’ve sent numerous emails requesting adjustments and a refund for the portion of the tax bill corresponding to the period when I didn’t own the property in 2023. Despite my consistent follow-ups, responses were scarce. It wasn’t until I escalated the matter by copying the main attorney in the emails and communicating with another law clerk that I finally received a response. I was informed that the remaining amount would be claimed from title insurance, yet the same delays and lack of communication persisted. Last month, after receiving the latest tax bill following the property assessment, I sent another email—this time while the law clerk was away. Even after her return, my inquiries about when I would receive the refund and the amounts involved have gone unanswered. This has been the worst customer experience I have encountered. I strongly urge you to check your email trails over the past nine months to see the level of neglect and unprofessionalism firsthand.
