I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Ramachandran Law. On Friday morning I completed intake, signed documents, provided my identification, and was already assigned two different lawyers, so I genuinely do not understand what is happening with my file.I sent a follow-up email on Friday afternoon and another follow-up email on Monday because I still had not received clarification. When I tried calling the office on Monday, I couldn’t get through at all—it just kept ringing. I then left a voice mail.I was never called back, so I called again on Tuesday, finally able to reach someone, and that’s when Ella told me she thought the issue had already been taken care of. I was confused by that response because I had already sent a follow-up email clearly stating that it had not been taken care of. She then seemed unsure of what was happening and told me someone would call me back within two hours. Surprise that callback never happened.At this point, I’m left wondering whether the lawyers are even aware of what’s happening with my file or whether there is simply a serious lack of communication within the office.. it is now Wednesday May 6th 4pm and I have yet to hear from anyone regarding my case since Friday May 1st morning.I have an active court matter, and this has caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. Clear communication is critical in family law matters, and unfortunately that was not my experience.

In January 2025, I retained a lawyer from this firm who requested a fee of $500 for my defense regarding a power of sale issue. After three months, I received a letter regarding a change of locks. Upon contacting the firm, I learned that the lawyer who was handling my case had left the firm. The law clerk informed me that to proceed, I would need to pay an additional $3,000 plus tax. I agreed to this payment without any other options. However, after that, I was told they sent an email to the other lawyers, but there was no response. After three months, I requested that they send another email, and they confirmed that the $3,000 was processed. I inquired about the situation but have not received any response since then.We have since decided to hire another lawyer. Within one week, he was able to communicate with the other lawyers and move the matter forward. I have wasted one year and $3400 with this firm.
