Wow - as a military family, we are super grateful for Chris and the Property Conveyors team for so many reasons. Chris helped us buy a beautiful home in Byron, Georgia, using an assumable VA loan.We had to do all of our house hunting from out-of-state and were not familiar with the area at all, so we heavily relied on Chris to educate us. He helped us navigate neighborhoods, school districts, homebuilds, red flags, pricing, and even rental markets. His response time was great both via call and text as well as getting to properties to do virtual showings for us using both recorded video and live face-to-face calls. He felt like a family friend and was so easy to work with, reducing the stress of house buying by being both transparent about the good, the bad, and the ugly and by being clear about next steps and navigating documentation. One thing that really set Chris apart was his ability to help us land a home using an ASSUMABLE VA LOAN. We had been warned by others that this process could be difficult, take forever, and that we would be met with so much pushback from mortgage companies. We are SO GLAD Chris stepped up to the challenge with us. We closed on our home in less than 2 months of identifying it and closed on the first closing date we set without having to push back at all. The assumable loan is such a powerful tool for homebuyers, but it seemed like there was a general lack of familiarity with it in the Warner Robins area. Well, now you know that Chris can do it!Chris also had a great network of supporting players - contacts with great customer service, pricing, and quality of work. From legal to carpet cleaning, landscapers to inspectors, Chris frequently said, "I've got a guy that can do that."Even post-sale, Chris kept taking care of us. Due to PCS timelines, we couldn't move into the house until 1 month after close, so he would periodically check on the house, adjust A/C and fans, and make sure everything was secure. He even went in-person to Houston County Offices to pass along our payment to turn on our water since they do not accept payment remotely. All the way up to our moving into the house, Chris would periodically call to check if we needed anything. Somehow, we always came up with something, and somehow, Chris always had a solution. There are too many details to list them all, so we will leave it at a high recommendation to contact Chris Tillman for your realtor needs.
