My visit to YR Family Dentistry was a nightmare. A simple mandibular block injection caused immediate, searing pain under my eye with vision problems and facial flushing among other symptoms. Dr. Yona called it paresthesia. The procedure to replace a broken filling was aborted. However, in my shock, I let her work on another tooth on the other side of my mouth. She did NOT do what was discussed (tooth colored sealant and instead a filing which was not needed due to a slight chip off the side of my tooth from a cherry pit that had been fine for 15 years - there was NO Cavity) since then I have had shifting teeth and constant pain.Since then, it's been constant pain: jaw, mouth, teeth, ear, temple, and under my eye, plus a lump in my cheek. Dr. Yona prescribed medication I'm allergic to not once but TWICE!They did a referral to an oral surgeon, however they were out of network, and I'm still waiting for a new one. I'm also still waiting for the neurologist referral.YR Family Dentistry caused me significant pain and has been lacking in addressing it. I would suggest that everyone avoid this place if you value your dental health and well-being.I went from zero dental/mouth pain to 7/10 daily. Less
