We brought our son in over the weekend and had a great experience with Lisa! My kiddo has thick wavy/curly hair and we've always asked for a surfer boy style cut but it's never been cut right but Lisa nailed it! He was so happy about how his hair turned out and immediately requested we come here to get his hair cut by Lisa from now on! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

Emma was wonderful and was able to make an appointment for my two young girls last minute for a wash (Emma also did a fantastic job washing their hairs) and braids. Maddie and Marissa were absolutely amazing with the girls and did such a beautiful job braiding their hair!This place is truly wonderful. Everyone was so kind, patient, and great with the kids, and they got everything done so quickly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be coming back! 💕

What a great experience! We took our grandson (2) to get his hair cut and the man that did it was exceptionally amazing with kids he was able to get his hair cut quickly with no issues at all. The place is set up amazing to keep the kids minds busy so they sit pretty still. It was a little pricey but we'll worth it. We wont go anywhere else

Amazing experience every time, we’ve been here about 4 or 5 times. My boys starting asking when we can go back after about a month every time. By far the best kids salon we’ve been too. We had David and Joseph today and both cuts turned out phenomenally. 10/10 every time, could not recommend enough!

Such a cute shop! Owner is so nice. Easy to book online, can get two haircuts at once and we lave with balloons, lollipops and a smile. My kids love coming here!

This location of sharkys cuts is the best. They are so sweet and super quick but also make the moment so special! We got my daughter’s first haircut and they were so awesome with her! They went out of their way to make her feel ready and special! They also gave her super awesome special prizes and painted her nails. She got the whole princess experience!

**Updated Review**I’m updating my previous review after giving this place another try, as the owner, Ahmed, personally reached out, apologized for our earlier experience, and asked us to give them another chance.I’m glad we did! This time, our experience was very good. The stylist was friendly, patient, and did a great job with my kid’s haircut. The whole experience felt much more relaxed and positive, and we were very happy with the result.I really appreciate Ahmed taking the time to personally address our concerns and make things right. It’s great to see a business listen to feedback and make an effort to improve.Based on this experience, I’m happy to update my review to 5 stars and recommend giving them a try.Previous Experience:Took appointment for my kid with Bailey. We called and checked if it was ok to arrive 15mins late as we were stuck in traffic and they said no worries you can come. After reaching they were like we only have 15mins left for your kids haircut can’t do hair wash, blow dry and do the nails (it’s the package that we took) sorry for the miscommunication! We travelled 35 miles for this! Felt like she was in a hurry to finish haircut and in the end they charged the same amount! I don’t not recommend this place.

After leaving a review for one of their stylists, who was not our usual go-to at Sharkey’s, the owner promptly responded to me and reassured me she was addressed regarding my review. I will say, it was nothing major or concerning, nor should it deter ANYONE from trusting Sharkey’s with their kids’ haircuts.This place is fun for the kids and David has been our go to stylist for my boy ever since his first haircut. He’s patient and interactive with the kids and makes it a fun and positive experience. As difficult as cutting a child’s hair can be, David has always cut and styled my son’s hair exactly the way we’ve asked. On top of that, if your kid is easily bothered by hair being in their face when it’s trimmed, David has a vacuum attached to his clippers to prevent this issue, which makes the experience pleasant for my son.

My son has never liked to get his haircut. We tried Sharkeys and it went so well. David was amazing talking with my son, explaining, showing and allowing my son to be apart of the process which made him feel so much more comfortable. My son loves getting his hair cut there.

Update: the owner is amazing and called me the next after seeing the review. He is more than generous on making it right and truly cares about his customers as do the stylists. It was a busy day and sometimes these things happen. That said I will he going back to this location and feel that they are an outstanding location that puts their clients first and offers true customer service, which is something that yoh do not see very often these days. Therefore I am changing my star rating to a 5 because there were a combination of things on a busy day that contributed to this and the Owner is solid on making things right.I really wanted to give a 5 star rating as both stylists were nice and the cut themselves were nice but we got there and the appointment was for 2 pm but they were busy and 13 minutes behind. My son's hair was not washed like I paid for, just sprayed which is not a wash. His blow dry that I had also select was a very rough blow dry it was not a full blow dry.My daughter's hair was washed, and the stylist was great in asking hoe much to cut and, the cut was great but she did not dry her hair at all which I did pay for.My biggest issue is not doing whst was paid for my son's hair should've been we en washed and fully dried and my daughter's hair should've been fully dried for $91 including tip.
