Just had Golden Shield put a new roof on last week. Great team, very communicative, owner on site and on the roof with the team making sure all was going smoothly. They took nearly 300 photos showing every step from tear off to final touches. Excellent experience-highly recommend!

I recently used Golden Shield Roofing, and I cannot recommend them enough! They completed the entire project right on schedule, and the crew was incredibly polite and courteous throughout the process. One of my favorite parts of the experience was having a dedicated superintendent on site for the entire work day. It gave me total peace of mind. I also loved receiving constant photo updates while I was at work, which made it so easy to check in on the progress. Their communication was truly excellent from start to finish.

He clearly explained the condition of our existing roof, the recommended materials, the installation process, and all of our available options. We had originally planned to replace our roof in September due to financial considerations, but Golden Shield was able to offer convenient, affordable financing that made moving forward immediately an easy decision—especially since our roof was in very poor condition.We received several estimates before making our decision—two were significantly higher, and one was lower. My Fiancé and I contacted Golden Shield for a consultation in May. The consultation with Matt was thorough. We had received quotes from three other contractors prior. During the consultation Matt spent 45 mins reviewing the products GS offers, highlighted a ventilation issue with the existing roof, and provided their quote within 24 hours. It's worth pointing out none of the other roofing quotes caught the lack of inflow ventilation in the existing roof. The quote was more competitive with higher rated products. On the day of the installation Alex (Project Manager) was on site all day. It was very convenient having a point person to communicate with through the day. We have done a significant amount of landscaping improvements, and Alex & team went above and beyond to minimize damage during the removal of the old roof. GS replaced the whole roof in one day and did the gutters the following day. Both Alex and Mike were very helpful addressing minor punch list items. They responded right away, and came back to the job same week to fix a J-channel piece, adjust the ridge vent on the detached garage, and added feet to the gutters. We are very happy with the final product and working with Matt and team was a first class experience.
