At 52, with menopause smacking me in the face (and belly) I decided to join a gym for the first time in my life. I was looking for a small private gym with personal training and Habitat popped up in my browser.Since joining, I have found it easy to be consistent because of their flexibility. My visceral fat has decreased to a healthy level and I am very happy. My bone density is great and I am retaining lean muscle. I train 3 times per week.Geannie, Ben and the trainers have been fabulous. They tweak things when my body is tweaking without fuss. When I wasn’t losing weight, despite being consistent, they took the time to enquire with a nutritionist to see what I could do differently. As it turns out, I needed to eat more (which made no sense to me), so I did and it worked. They care about your results and the journey you are on.The gym is clean and well organised and has a good vibe. Everyone that attends Habitat is lovely and there’s no judgement, just encouragement.I’m glad that I made the call to join and would highly recommend Habitat gym to anyone who asks.
