I’ve been training with Coach JD for almost two years now, and I can honestly say he has changed my life. A year into our training, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to pause our program. I underwent two surgeries and radiation treatment, and during that time, JD stayed in touch and continued to offer support—even though we weren’t actively training. That meant the world to me.Once I was cleared to return, I was devastated to find I could no longer lift my left arm above shoulder height. I felt like I had lost all the progress we had made. But JD never let me give up. He worked closely with my therapists and created a personalized training plan to gently stretch and strengthen my very corded tendons and muscles. It was slow and painful at first, but his patience, encouragement, and expertise made all the difference.Over the past year, JD has helped me not only regain what I lost, but go beyond it. I’m currently finishing a 10-week challenge through his program, and with his guidance and support, I’ve lost 10% of my body weight and gained muscle definition I never dreamed I’d have again in my 40s.
