Tevin took in our dog kai (3 year old pit/boxer mix) three weeks of training The biggest issues we were having with our dog was aggressive barking (fear of potential biting to strangers)and pulling at the leash very very badly. After the first meeting Tevin was able to give us all the answers we needed as to why our dog suddenly started giving us issues and ways we need to adjust our routine at home. We waited a week after drop off to visit as instructed and just in that short amount of time we were blown away at the difference such a short time with Tevin and his team had made Kai was calm walking side by side he was actually paying attention and waiting for instruction Every visit we made in the remainder of his stay we continued to see consistent improvement in kai His confidence growing not only in himself but with us also I cannot recommend Tevin and his team enough to anyone who is overwhelmed with trying to help you’re dog on you’re own this was a big task and they met every expectation and more! We cant wait to continue training and see where this journey takes kai and our family 10/10 highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about Tevin and the incredible work he did with our golden retriever, Luna. When Luna left for training, she was a sweet dog with plenty of energy and selective hearing. When she came home, she was still the same happy, loving dog—but with the skills, confidence, and obedience we had been hoping for. Tevin took the time to understand Luna’s personality and tailored his training to help her succeed. Throughout the entire process, Tevin kept us updated with videos, photos, and progress reports, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about Luna and treated her like one of his own. He even encouraged me to come down, spend time with her, and get some training myself—which was probably necessary, since Luna seemed to be catching on faster than I was! The results have been amazing. Luna is more focused, responsive, and well-mannered, and we now have the tools and knowledge to continue reinforcing her training at home. Just as importantly, Tevin made the experience enjoyable and stress-free for both us and Luna. If you’re looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, patient, professional, and truly passionate about dogs, we highly recommend Tevin. Entrusting someone with your dog is a big decision, and we’re so grateful we chose him. Thank you, Tevin, for taking such great care of our girl and helping her become the best version of herself!

Tevin and Mandy have so much talent for training, from simple good manners all the way to specialized task training for service work! There is no “one size fits all” approach here. We love Tazmanian K-9 Training and would recommend them to anyone, anytime!

We could not save some of the dogs we do without Tevin’s assistance and knowledge! Tevin has been an INCREDIBLE asset to our rescue; providing basic obedience as well as life-changing behavior modification training. 10/10 recommend!

🐾 Amazing Transformation! 🐾I am beyond thrilled with the results from Tevyn at Tazmanian K9! My German Shepherd, Axel, used to be very reactive and would pull like crazy during walks, which made our outings quite challenging. However, after completing the board and train program, Axel has completely turned around!Tevyn provided exceptional training and really connected with Axel. Now, he is calm, well-mannered, and even off-leash trained! Our walks are now a pleasure—the difference is night and day.Tevyn also took the time to equip me with the right techniques and insights to continue Axel’s training at home. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend Tazmanian K9 to anyone in need of professional dog training.Thank you, Tevyn, for your dedication and expertise! You have truly made a positive impact on our lives! 🌟❤️

I highly recommend Tazmanian K-9 Training. I have a three year old mini Aussie-doodle that had aggression issues and no manners. She stayed at Tevin’s place for two weeks and what a difference it’s made. I no longer call her hyper- Piper! She can sit, lay, stay, respond to up and off. She doesn’t growl at me when I walk by her food and she eats treats out of my hand now. I’m still a week out and working with her at home. She’s definitely testing me but one text to Tevin and he guided me. She hasn’t bitten me once and she’s actually paying attention to me. I’m in control of her versus the other way around. She is a bougie pup but she is now polite. I cannot express how bad her guarding resource issues were with treats and food. She’s a stubborn little dog but with continuous guidance, that habit will break too. I was VERY hesitant about leaving her but it was worth every penny!

Couldn’t be more impressed! Our 5 month old yellow lab was out of control and we had no clue how or what to do, we found Tevin and all those worries went away he first off has a great professional and clean work environment for the dogs, and he takes his time and gets down and works with them and will stay in full communication the entire time! We felt so at ease and knew our pup was in the best hands, getting him back he is a completely changed dog he is so obedient and actually listens to us now we are so thankful we found Tazmanian K-9 Training!
