I hired Artigues Roofing & Restoration Services and was initially satisfied with the work, but soon discovered that the contractor had broken my backflow. I notified Brad Artigues multiple times, and after several unsuccessful attempts to have the proper contractor come out to fix it, the repair was still not completed correctly. As a result, my irrigation system was unusable for weeks.Brad and I eventually agreed that I would have my own backflow technician handle the repair and he would reimburse the cost. Despite nearly a year of follow-ups and multiple attempts to contact him, Brad stopped responding and never honored the $275 reimbursement. I ultimately had to pay for the repair myself.After spending close to $10,000 with the company, I expected a basic level of accountability. If such a small reimbursement goes ignored, I have serious concerns about the company’s integrity and whether any warranties would be honored in the future.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so others can avoid the stress I’ve gone through. I had two areas on my roof that were leaking, and this company recommended a full roof replacement. I trusted their recommendation and signed the paperwork. The new roof was put on within two days—which seemed great at first—but I later discovered that no city permit had been pulled for the work.Just three days after the full replacement, both leaks were not only still present but worse. I contacted both Brad (the owner) and Renz (project manager) to come back and fix the issues. For about two weeks, I kept getting excuses about why no one could come out. When they finally attempted a repair, the leaks continued.I reached out again to let them know nothing had been resolved, and after that, they stopped responding and my number was blocked. My boyfriend tried contacting them, and the conversation we received back was extremely unprofessional- apparently Brad is no longer legally allowed to work in Charleston and is battling family litigation. We were told they will not be returning to make repairs or issue any refund.This has been an incredibly frustrating and costly experience. Please learn from my mistake—do your research and avoid this company.

In addition, their staff both in the office and in the field are professional, friendly and highly skilled. Way above and beyond ! Brad showed up the day I posted to check things out. Could not find a roof issue but went up into the attic and realized it was an AC overflow tray that was not working properly. Not sure any other contractor would have responded so fast and then help find the real issue. Also a heck of a nice guy.Highly recommend!!!

Renz was extremely efficient and professional and a pleasure to speak with. Brad and his team came highly recommended by a coworker of mine so I gave him a call and I’m very glad I did! Brad was at my house the following day to give me an estimate. He took his time explaining the process to my wife and I as well as helping us decide on the right shingle colors. His team showed up at 7:00am and by 4:00 they had the whole roof done. They spent at least 2 hours after that raking and picking up all the debris. My yard looked better when they left than it did when they got there! Brad and his team do high quality work! I’d highly recommend!

After 24 years our roof was looking dated, stained and tired. Brads shingle choice made all the difference in appearance and curbside appeal and came with the security of 50 Year shingles. The work was done both expertly and quickly. The cleanup was like it never even happened even the leaves littering the lawn were gone. I would highly recommend Brad and Artigues roofing for your roofing project.
