We eat here all the time because the food is good quality and reasonably priced. It’s a great spot, but the staff really needs proper training. Unfortunately, the service seems to be getting worse, which I honestly didn’t think was possible. The employees always look miserable and uninterested in their jobs.Every visit, we have to constantly call someone over because no one checks on the table, asks if we need anything, or even does a basic quality check on the food. Meanwhile, staff members stand around in groups chatting while the few occupied tables are ignored.What was especially concerning was watching the bartender repeatedly take her earrings out, play with them, touch her hair, and then continue handling glasses and bar items without washing her hands. That’s a serious hygiene issue and shows a major lack of training and professionalism.It’s disappointing because this place has so much potential to be amazing, but the lack of enthusiasm, attentiveness, and experience from the staff really hurts the overall experience.

El dia de hoy fui a comer con mis amigos, me encantaba ese lugar , pero lo que hoy viví fue sumamente incómodo, la mesera me pidió que me pusiera una blusa encima , por que tenía un escote , le dije que porque motivo y me repitió que era mi escote, me siento muy incomoda, expuesta, es la primera vez en zona romántica que me ha tratado así, por una blusa . Me comentaron que es para evitar que surja acoso , honestamente esa no es una causa para exhibir a alguien por su vestimenta. Me siento muy incomoda e insultada.

Me siento muy incomoda 😕, la mesera me pidio que me pusiera una blusa, tenía un top de red donde se veían mis pechos, honestamente, yo venía aqui porque sentía tranquila y en paz, honestamente me siento muy incomoda siendo señalada por mi ropa . I have been coming here for almost 2 years, you have one policy I feel really needs to be reviewed, you offer happy hour between two and five, but you only if they ask for it and sometimes people forget that they have to do that upfront. That’s like offering a discount and then taking it away from them in the next breath. I think that’s a very unfair practice. I love your place, but I would have you seriously consider changing that, you’re hurting people and making them not come back because they felt that they were treated unfairly. I offered this up for your review because I love your restaurant, but that’s a very bad policy. Honor happy hour between two and five always to everyone not just the ones that remember they must ask for it upfront or they won’t get it when the bill is presented.I see the owner has disputed the truth of my review, but when I brought this to the attention of the server that I did not receive the discount, I was told that I had to let them know that I wanted the happy hour price when I placed the order and they would not change it after I brought it to their attention when I was given the bill.

Love the restaurant. Good food and service but today. I just learned that they have “happy hour 2-5pm..” and A customer was asking to respect that on his bill, then he was told loudly that customers have to request it before service, otherwise they don’t have to honor it after the bill is printed. Very bad practice of the restaurant. Or maybe just a bad service by the waitress. And Since I didn’t wanted to be yelled about it too. I didn’t dispute the bill. Management should honor the happy hour policy implemented by the own restaurant even without being requested by customers.

I’ve been coming to Granero for the past 3-4 years. Loved the food, loved the service, and when i was 6 i used to eat at Los Muertos, which is (i think) owned by the same owner. For pretty much a whole year i’d come and eat everyday. Spending between 10 and 15 thousand pesos a month. Depending if i brought friends and so on (which i brought a lot btw). There was always this one waitress who had an attitude, this older lady named Gaby. She was at most times rude, and never liked us but we still loved the place so we didnt pay that much attention to it. Not so long ago we’re banned, because a friend of ours didnt pay their check (left without paying, but we stayed, and paid for ours) well Gaby wasnt happy, and tried making us pay, we didn’t, and she decided to have us banned. It’s sad we’re no longer welcomed over an issue that wasn’t even our fault, and mostly because Gaby just wanted to get rid of us.Either way, love granero, love the food, ambience, etc. Just be on Gaby’s good side and enjoy, it truly is a great place.
