Am I glad I met David! I had posted to a personal finance Facebook group seeking for advice on my options due to a previous terrible refi nightmare with another agent at a different company. David gave one of the best answers and from there we had connected. Unlike other agents I've worked with who were all about business (numbers & statements), David's human approach was refreshing. I have to say I was not trusting of loan officers after my previous experience with the other agent, but David made efforts to get to know me and my personal goals for refinance, and was always there with a quick reply when I had questions. He quickly earned my trust with his sincerity and honesty. I was not the best client in terms of my conditions: I had a specific rate/condition in mind, I had an abnormally high LTV for refi, I wanted to minimize all fees, my condo HOA had litigation issues, and the rates were constantly fluctuating in the wrong direction - but David never abandoned me! I almost cried when I saw my loan finally funded (my refi journey was not typical and was really long). I almost couldn't believe my eyes! After being "burned" by other agents before, I had thought my situation was a lost cause, but David really pulled through for me. Thank you so much, David! Less

Obviously locking in the lowest rate and closing costs would be an objective way to measure a mortgage loan officer. David was able to get me an excellent rate as well as keep closing costs low, keeping me aware of my options and fine tuning the loan as things changed. He was also able to forecast things like increasing property taxes and weigh that against my options so that I was able to make an educated decision on when to lock.
