I had personal training sessions with Kayvan which were super effective! Lost a bit of weight and without any complex equipment and mostly doing our sessions at our fairly small small! Also my running posture got much better after training with Kayvan.... More

I have been training with Kayvan since 2012, and he has completely changed my physique and my mindset on how I look after my body. I decreased my body fat percentage and have improved my strength, and when I am struggling with my work/life balance he always keeps me focused and on-track. Kayvan has helped me through a back and shoulder injury, ensuring my training is suitable and helps support my rehabilitation.As we train at my house, he is flexible with our training schedules, and looks for innovative ways to try new techniques. Mainly we do resistance and circuit style training, but also bring in boxing and weights to mix things up.Along with my personalized training plan, Kayvan has recommended diet plans that support the exercise, and we undertook a DNA test together to be assured that the work we were doing together was 100% right for me. It is these extra support services which set Kayvan apart as his knowledge and understanding is far beyond your average gym PT.I would 100% recommend an assessment with Kayvan to see what he can do to you to help you achieve goals, and maintain them in the long run. From working with Kayvan I have learnt that staying mentally strong plays a part in being successful. Every session with him was hard so I learnt that if I was going to get through these sessions feeling good about what we did I knew I had to keep a positive frame of mind.Kayvan taught me different things I could do on court playing my position with his experience. It did help me when it came to the games because when I did or could have done something; I thought to myself 'Kayvan taught me that' and 'thank you for teaching me that Kayvan' because it gave me an advantage over the bigger players.I was given information on nutrition and the importance of it being an elite athlete. One of the examples Kayvan gave was that I can't eat a 400 calorie meal and only burn off half of it in one of our sessions because my body will store it - especially if I want to decrease my body fat percentage.Kayvan emphasised recovery and putting the body under too much stress. He made it clear to me why recovery helps prevent injury, and how doing too many things can cause injury that can have you out for a whole season, or finish your basketball career like his ACL injury.I believe Kayvan couldn't have done anything more to help me improve. He pushed me when I didn't want to go anymore. Kayvan made me realise I was stronger mentally than I thought. In the future I would like to learn more about how different factors cause injuries and what extra actions I can do to prevent them. With my ankle I knew that my weight played a part but I was unsure what other factors may have caused it to happen.Kayvan helped me so much last year. Due to his help and our hard working sessions; I was chosen to represent England in Romania. I thank him for his experiences and knowledge he shared with me.
