I brought my e-scooter to Electric RVA eBike and PEV Repair on Admiral Street for a tire they replaced less than two months ago. They refused to even inspect it and said I’d have to pay for a new one. Only after I pushed did they remove the tire, find no damage or puncture, and blame a possible manufacturer defect. They added sealant, but it went flat again within a minute of leaving. They also refused to provide any receipts. When I asked for the owner, they said he wasn’t there and told me they don’t need my business. One employee even used very strong language to assert my exit (guy wearing glasses and has piercings) several times. The other employee told me not to pay attention to him after telling me the owner said “we don’t need your business”. Poor accountability and unprofessional service. Be careful because if they give you a defective tire they will charge you for a new one. That was a horrible/surreal experience.
