Today Teebo & myself had the pleasure of Colin doing a one to one visit to correct some behaviour issues which required some understanding of our dog and why this is happening. Colin was simply amazing, spending time to get to know Teebo & myself to address the issues and reactive problems we were having. I can honestly say I have not had such a pleasurable walk with Teebo by making some simple but effective adjustments to our walk. As I always thought it is mainly our error and not the dog, which is very clear from today. Colin demonstrated to me what commands are required and why. We have a lot of work to do over the next 3 weeks to continue the progress we have today but I can honestly say this is the best thing I have done for us both & would highly recommend Colin, his approach, clear instructions & also clear guidance in what a dog requires is outstanding. As already said I feel the happiest & most confident I have in a long time & looking forward to moving on with all the plans & recommendation from Colin. The work is over to me now as Colin cannot wave a magic wand to correct these things, it’s now my turn to turn this into what I want it to be. We can't recommend Colin enough! Colin visited us 5 weeks ago to help with one of our dogs that had reactive issues and the other dog pulling on the lead. He listened to our concerns and tailored a 3-stage plan. Colin visits you and works with you in your dog's familiar environment; we felt that this enabled the dogs to get straight into the training zone on that day. We saw improvements immediately. With all the knowledge and information that Colin gave us, we are now much better equipped to see and understand our dogs' needs and responses. I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for not only diverting from Oxford to come to us two weeks early but what you've helped us overcome.Within 48hrs we noticed a huge difference in Woody. Took the crate with ease, responding to the commands and very little resource guarding.Routine firmly set for the past four weeks and what a difference it has made. The relationship between Woody and my husband is simply amazing they have formed a lovely bond.Whilst we have had some resource guarding it has been few and far between and he responds very well to either our command or the collar.You have honestly changed the dynamics and it has been so nice just having him behave like a family dog and not have to worry about evenings, resource guarding and walking on eggshells around him.Amazing and we are so very grateful for your guidance. We have a very different dog. I chose Colin because of all of the positive changes people have seen in the reviews and I'm so glad I did.I was conscious I would feel out of my depth but Colin was so patient with me and my family. He had our dog walking past dogs on the same side of the road within 10 minutes. We then did the longest walk we've ever been on with him, walking past over 15 dogs with a much lower reactive response - in most cases, no response. It's probably worth noting that these dogs were on lead but on the same path as us and also off lead and running around. I would never have walked my dog in those spaces if it wasn't for Colin's direction and guidance.Colin explained everything in detail before we headed out for a walk. Everything he said was easy to understand. You can tell he has a lot of experience and extremely calm energy which helps when you're feeling nervous or a little more frantic with your past experiences in mind. We were able to ask questions throughout the walk about other things too and I can't thank him enough for helping us.I've walked him the following day and had such a different walk with him than usual. He didn't react once. This is the 1st walk I've been able to do without turning round 5 minutes in because the dog couldn't calm down.I had a really good feeling about Colin and I was right. My girl Red was a mess outside (and so was I)! She was constantly anxious, pulled non stop, didn’t listen to me. She’d growl, bark and lunge at every woman, man, child and dog that was in sight.After one session with Colin, she’s walking beside me practically perfectly! She responds to correction very well, giving only little to no reaction to trigger at all. If I ever find across someone who is struggling with their dog, I’ll most definitely recommend Colin! Less

We are so so happy with the advice and help from Colin at The Hidden K9. His knowledge and understanding of dogs and their behaviours is fantastic. We booked him to come and help us with our English bulldog who was scared of traffic and wouldn’t walk on the lead anywhere where there was a road or where he could hear cars. Within 5 mins he had him walking up and down the street. He taught us how to deal with all of our boys crazy behaviour and even though it’s only day 2 his life is so much more enriched as he is walking so many places that he wouldn’t go before. Colin also helped us with our female English bulldog who would lunge at cars and bikes and was skittish around them. She also wanted to jump on and play with every other dog she saw. Today she has walked amazing, no lunging or jumping and we are only on the 2nd day. I am excited to see how they both do with continued training. It is the best money that I have ever spent on my dogs! All of these anti pull harnesses are just a marketing gimmick. Getting to the root cause is what will help you. We can recommend Colin 100% and he would be the first person we would call if we ever needed help again with our dogs. My dog is very big and was reactive to many things, but largely other dogs. He was also very loud generally and a real handful on his walks, which were always short and stressful.Colin visited us for the morning a couple of weeks ago and today I have taken my dog to some formal gardens locally, he's walked round beautifully on his lead, met a dog at very close quarters without any adverse reaction and seen many others - we even went into the cafe for tea and cake! I can hardly believe the difference and the way the techniques Colin introduced have calmed my dog and enabled me to manage his behaviour.I'm looking forward to continuing to work on his training plan and to all the things we'll be able to do together that seemed impossible a few weeks ago Less
