Walking our dog had become something I dreaded rather than enjoyed and having visitors to the house is always stressful for the first few minutes because of our frenchie's reactive behaviour. We'd always told ourselves it would settle down with age; instead it got worse. I knew I was part of the problem but had no idea how to fix it, and was getting conflicting advice from all directions. It had reached the point where he was a genuine risk to other people and dogs, even though at home with us he's nothing but loving.We picked Colin based on his reviews, and I'm glad we did. Within minutes of being in our house and watching us all, he'd identified that this wasn't aggression, it was insecurity, and put us at ease straight away that it was fixable. The honest truth is it's more about educating us than the dog, but that's fine by me; I'll take the guidance.This is only two days after our session, so it's early days and there's work to do on our end. But even on the first walk after, it felt like a different dog, and not just Elvis, our other dog too. If we keep at what we've learnt, I've no doubt I'll be back to write a new review. 100% recommend.

I came to the reactive dog group session on Sunday, wow I was so impressed from start to finish! I went with my new dog who likes to bark and lung at every dog insight.Colin took him for only 5 minutes and was already an improvement, he explains everything to you in detail so you really understand how to use the slip lead. The improvement was incredible for such a short amount of time.I left this group with a lot more confidence and reassurance which is what I really wanted and needed, as having a dog thats already 2 is hard to acknowledge why they are doing the behaviour that they are doing.I really would recommend this to anyone who has a reactive dog or needs advice.I cant wait to carry on the same training and hope to come back in the future for help with recall.I can't recommend enough!Thanks again to the team!Jasmine 🐾

I had a brilliant experience with Colin. We had an initial free consultation and established that some of the processes I had already put into place with my dog may already be working. At no point did I feel a hard sell to sign up to a home visit, more a genuine desire to help me out with my dogs issues. I couldn’t recommend Colin more.

We have an 18 month old Doberman male 46kg ( a big boy) called Oswald who was very reactive and was unwalkable on lead and had no recall whatsoever. He would bark at me constantly for attention and people as they passed the house also. We hired Colin to help us with getting it under control. Colin showed us exactly what to do and gave us the right skills and tools to manage our pup. Colin was very understanding, proffesional and reassured us every step of the way. He gave me the confidence needed to be able to deal with situations that I couldnt previously. We can now walk our pup on a lead with no pulling and no reactivity. We can let him off the lead and he comes back straight away. This was all achieved in 3 hours training which is amazing and worth every penny. I now enjoy taking Oswald out for walks whereas before I used to dread it. I would highly recommend Colin to anyone needing a trainer.
