Having spoken to Colin over the phone and discussed the issues we are having with our 18 month GSD Ozzie, he clearly explained it was all fixable, he just need some structure in his life, he explained what the plan was going to be, and what I needed to do to achieve this, he arrived for the 3 hour training for Ozzie and me, he wasn't condescending no judgement, he took control of Ozzie within 10 minutes of being indoors, he clearly explained what the plan was going to be for the 3 hours, sort his reactive towards other dogs and help making him calmer at home when people come to visit, I have to say I was a little apprehensive! But within 1/2 hour we had some control indoors, then we went outside so he could see what he had to deal with, we meet a few dogs in the park, and I was very surprised with the reaction of Ozzie, no lunging or pulling, kept our distance to start then slowly getting close, amazed is an under statement. He told me what to do and when, I'm so impressed with the improvement in Ozzie in just a few hours, I feel comfortable walking Ozzie, we are still learning, but such an improvement in Ozzie, Cant recommend Hidden K9 enough, we still have a far bit to do Ozzie, but with all the correct information and support from Colin, I'm sure we will get there. It's early days with my two dogs, we have a lot of issues to work on but Colin has already helped enormously with understanding the cause of the behaviour and how to address it.

Colin has given us the tools and training to better control our two feisty labradors. It was amazing, we walked our reactive dog alongside Colin’s gorgeous Malanoise, Maggie, without any fuss at all! Our other dog, who’s pulling on the lead was a real pain, is now walking by our side. Colin is amazing and it’s made such a difference, looking forward to putting it all into practice and making improvements every day!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Life-Changing Results – Highly Recommend Colin!If you have a highly reactive dog, you will know the isolating feeling of only walking them at dawn, dusk, or in remote areas just to avoid other dog walkers. For a long time, that was our reality with our rescue dog, Taz. Because he was never socialised as a puppy, he would lunge and bark frantically at dogs even in the far distance. Our family life revolved around hiding away—we could only go to wild campsites, and would park up facing hedges and surround ourselves with windbreaks, and we completely avoided cafes or pub gardens or public places.Everything changed the day Colin came to help us. During our initial walk, we headed toward what we called the "nemesis house" at the end of our street. Before we even got close, Taz was on his hind legs, eyes bulging, barking wildly. Colin calmly took charge, and within moments, the barking and lunging stopped completely. I was absolutely gobsmacked. Colin then taught me how to deal with this behaviour, and how to remain calm. Within less than an hour, I was able to walk Taz past that exact house and have him sit calmly outside.We then moved on to the local park to face real-world dog encounters, and Taz maintained his good behaviour. Colin left us with a clear, structured program of controlled exposure. The progress over the next few weeks was incredibly positive because we stuck to the plan.The ultimate test came last weekend: we went to a standard dog friendly campsite and successfully visited both a cafe and a pub garden for refreshments. Taz absolutely nailed it!I wanted to wait to see if the training worked before writing this review and I can honestly say Colin has transformed us into a normal family. Walking our dog had become something I dreaded rather than enjoyed and having visitors to the house is always stressful for the first few minutes because of our frenchie's reactive behaviour. We'd always told ourselves it would settle down with age; instead it got worse. I knew I was part of the problem but had no idea how to fix it, and was getting conflicting advice from all directions. It had reached the point where he was a genuine risk to other people and dogs, even though at home with us he's nothing but loving.We picked Colin based on his reviews, and I'm glad we did. Within minutes of being in our house and watching us all, he'd identified that this wasn't aggression, it was insecurity, and put us at ease straight away that it was fixable. The honest truth is it's more about educating us than the dog, but that's fine by me; I'll take the guidance.This is only two days after our session, so it's early days and there's work to do on our end. But even on the first walk after, it felt like a different dog, and not just Elvis, our other dog too. If we keep at what we've learnt, I've no doubt I'll be back to write a new review. 100% recommend.

I came to the reactive dog group session on Sunday, wow I was so impressed from start to finish! I went with my new dog who likes to bark and lung at every dog insight.Colin took him for only 5 minutes and was already an improvement, he explains everything to you in detail so you really understand how to use the slip lead. The improvement was incredible for such a short amount of time.I left this group with a lot more confidence and reassurance which is what I really wanted and needed, as having a dog thats already 2 is hard to acknowledge why they are doing the behaviour that they are doing.I really would recommend this to anyone who has a reactive dog or needs advice.I cant wait to carry on the same training and hope to come back in the future for help with recall.I can't recommend enough!Thanks again to the team!Jasmine 🐾
