I have been working on and off with Joey for about 2 years now. Unfortunately but fortunately I have learned that consistency is key to all the work that Joey does. When I found Joey I was in the very early stages of separation. I had been married for 17 years and with this person for 21 years. I struggled with anxiety, depression, and many other things. Joey took the time to hear where I was at and to see if I was a good fit for the work he does. From the day I was accepted I can honestly say it has been a lifestyle change that I did not know I even needed but today I am forever grateful for. I was one of those guys who went to work, made good money, was very involved in many things in my community (coaching youth, town councilman, fireman, volunteered for many things) had multiple part time jobs to provide for my families very active/busy lifestyle, helped my wife at home with cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc, and much more. I say all that because I really felt everything was going great in my life and I had everything I ever wanted or needed. My kids were happy and doing as they wanted, they didn’t want or need for anything. I thought my wife was happy because I was doing all things for her you could ever imagine and then some it seemed, BUT I FAILED to connect emotionally with her and my communication was very poor. I truly was not in touch with anything in my own life emotionally so I had absolutely no clue how to meet her emotionally. The work Joey does with you will help you understand the need for these important lifestyle changes and how to continuously show up daily for yourself and others around you. Joey will have the hard conversations with you and will help you through to the other side. Joey cares and wants to have deep connection with those in his brotherhood. He takes the time to have the 1 on 1 calls or zoom meetings. He also believes very strongly in community. I can say I have not always been the most consistent with this work but Joey keeps the pressure on and made me the better version of myself that I am today.
