Great BJJ club, I’ve been training there for a few years now and the overall vibe of GB Calgary SW is the best there is. Professor Eduardo is great, so is the rest of the staff, and the schedule is fantastic. If you have been looking to get started, give it a try, you won’t regret it.... More

Having trained at several BJJ clubs in different cities over the years, I have to say I’ve been really impressed with this Gracie Barra BJJ gym. The instructors are very experienced and knowledgeable, and they bring a professional yet welcoming energy to every class. They treat everyone with respect, regardless of skill level, and are always willing to take the time to help students improve, whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience.Classes always start and end on time, which shows the level of organization and respect they have for their students’ time. One thing I particularly appreciate is the positive and inclusive atmosphere they foster. Additionally, the instructors make it clear that there’s no room for 'mat bullies.' Everyone is encouraged to train safely, respectfully, and supportively. If you’re looking for a BJJ gym where you’ll be challenged, respected, and supported in your growth, I highly recommend Gracie Barra.
