The entire staff were positive and supportive.I hired them based on a neighbor’s recommendation so I admit I didn’t ‘shop around’ in part because I know my neighbor had previously explored the options and in part because he was so satisfied with their work that I hoped they would work equally well and respectfully with me. In the past as a single female I have had problems with contractors: disrespecting the contract (and me, and yes, I ended up going to CSLB, won the case and never received the judgment awarded to me); abandoning the job; demanding payment before completing a task to earn the sum/demanding advances on the money that would be due when a task was completed; interrupting my job to take on other jobs causing delays on my project; and that’s not even mentioning the ones who thought ‘my body must need their special services’ forgetting about the job for which they were hired…none of those issues were problems with Professional Foundation Repair & Construction Inc. They were even able to handle the project while I was out of the country! There was no disruption to my schedule because it was handled before I returned, fabulous :-)I am so relieved not to have had the problems that I had with other contractors, and so pleased with the caring professionalism that I am hiring them to handle the leveling of my porch. This entire community has a problem with breaking, uneven sinking of porches due to no footings required at the time of original construction around 1918. City hall refuses to address the porch issue so I have retained Professional Foundation Repair & Construction Inc’s services to handle the porch issue.

Ulises Sandoval from Professional Foundation Repair came to my house initially to take photos of the foundation and crawl space in conjunction with California's Earthquake Brace and Bolt (EBB) program. He discovered water underneath the house that had caused considerable damage and degradation of the foundation. The water turned out to be due to the faulty installation of a main line by a plumber some years ago. Ulises showed me 24 photos from under the house and emphasized the urgency of the repairs. The photos amply documented the damage, and I understood the urgency to act promptly to avoid extremely expensive foundation repairs that would have required the house to be jacked up. Ulises worked with the company to get my repairs under way as soon as possible. The entire team from Professional Foundation Repair was knowledgeable, hard-working, efficient, and professional. They did a fantastic job (entailing many steps and materials) to save the foundation. Ulises also linked me to excellent plumbing and drainage companies to take additional steps to mitigate water incursion into the house, stucco, etc. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found this company, and especially Ulises Sandoval, to help me address the serious problems with my foundation. I give them my highest possible recommendation.

Update 1 year later:Unfortunately, I have to change my review to one star. The $10k worth in repairs done to fix water intrusion last year leaked the next rainy season.I contacted Professional Foundation Repair to warranty their work. After several visits by different inspectors to the property, they verbally agreed to warranty their work. However, since then I have been passed bath and forth to various inspectors and project managers including under the sister company, professional drainage, who have looked at the issue and agreed that further repairs are needed.However, this has been going on for nearly 3 months now, since the first heavy rain back Nov of 2025. I am still trying to get in touch with someone to actually schedule the work and get it done. Finally it was scheduled for today but “something came up” and now they want to delay the work and first get more details about what’s leaking.I’m very disappointed with this experience and simultaneously we continue to have water intrusion issues in our place.Original review:Professional Foundation Repair is a pleasure to work with. We had a very scary issue crop up during the rain storms recently in Southern California with a major amount of water entering into our house from the walls. Carlos and his team came out and diagnosed the issue and put a high quality repair in place quickly and for a reasonable price. Communication was clear and professional throughout the process and the project got done on time and on budget. The work included resealing the roof, various areas on the exterior walls, and installing a waterproof concrete curb at the base of the wall. Thank you! Hope to work with you again.

I was very impressed with the quick response time to get an inspection scheduled. I was in a pinch to get it done quickly and they came to the rescue. The inspector was professional, courteous and thorough. He was able to quickly identify the problem and get us the quote for the repair work.
