Our family can’t rate HeadStart Club high enough. Our little boy has absolutely thrived in this environment – small class groups, amazing educators and a beautiful space set up so thoughtfully. It has not only been a great learning experience, it has also built up our son’s confidence and it is his most favourite time of the week.All of the skills learnt will carry over to Prep and give him the best start to his schooling.I just wish we knew about this amazing facility/service prior to my daughter starting Prep.Big thank you to Ali and all the amazing team at HeadStart Club!

We honestly can’t recommend Head Start Club enough. Mia has attended Preparation Club for the whole year and we are so glad we decided to do it alongside kindy.It has been amazing seeing how much she has grown over the year, not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. She has gained so much confidence and independence, and has learnt so many of the little skills and routines that will make the transition to Prep that much easier. Last year we were questioning if Mia was ready for Prep. At the end of this year we are 100% sure Mia is ready for school next year.Ali and her entire team are absolutely wonderful. They are so welcoming, warm, patient and encouraging and really take the time to understand each child and what they need. They have let Mia be herself in a low pressure but structured environment.Mia adores all of her teachers and genuinely looks forward to going each week.What has meant a lot to us is how much the Headstart Team cares about our whole family, not just the children. Always taking extra time to check in and ask about myself and husband and offering support during difficult weeks.If you’re wondering whether it’s worth doing Preparation Club for the year alongside kindy, for us it absolutely has been. We feel so much more confident about Mia starting Prep after everything she has gained. We’re incredibly grateful to Ali and the whole team for such a special year. ❤️

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Preparation Club! My daughter has attended for nearly a year, and we’ve seen a huge improvement in her skills, especially her writing.I’ve found the skills taught at Preparation Club differ from those typically developed at kindy. The smaller, close-knit group allows for more one-on-one attention, and we feel it’s been highly beneficial in preparing my daughter for Prep.Ms Taylor, Ms Wendy and Ali have all been fantastic, and we’re so grateful for the care and support they’ve given my daughter. We would highly recommend the program to other families!

The headstart club team is amazing! Our son has been attending the Preparation classes once a week (in addition to Kindy). The smaller class sizes means children don't get lost amongst the crowd, it's his favourite class of the week!

Both of my boys attended Head Start, and I honestly can't speak highly enough of the team. They are some of the loveliest, most down-to-earth and genuinely caring teachers you'll meet. They're especially wonderful at navigating those tricky transitions and making little ones feel safe, supported and understood.The program itself is fantastic. I noticed such a huge leap in my sons' abilities, confidence and understanding during their time there. Such a beautiful environment for little minds to learn and grow. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

My son has been attending Headstart for a year and his progress in all aspects has given him so much confidence to start Prep. Whilst he also attends a kindy we have found that attending the small group at Headstart lead by such passionate teachers has given him the personalised attention to really thrive. We’ve absolutely loved our time at Headstart Club with Penny.When Penny first started, she was a little hesitant and, being quite a sensitive girl, can take some time to feel comfortable and confident in a new environment. It has honestly been so lovely to watch her confidence grow the more she attended. The small groups were perfect for her and gave her the space to feel comfortable, have a go and really enjoy herself.As this is Penny’s second year of kindy, Headstart Club has been such a wonderful activity to do each week. She has reached the point where she is really ready and excited to start learning, and I feel like she is going into her final year before school in such a stronger position.Most importantly, she has grown so much in confidence and belief in herself, which I think will make such a difference when she starts school next year.We’re so grateful for the lovely experience Penny has had at Headstart Club and would absolutely recommend it to other families, especially those with little ones who might need a little extra time and encouragement to find their confidence.
