The GCCC was an awesome experience for my son, he absolutely loved going to school there every day. The free play and activities were always engaging and the staff are extremely sweet and down to earth people. Great option for those who need flexible enrollment.

The Guanacaste Community Center has been a blessing for our family, creating a warm, joyful space where my kids connect with nature, build confidence, and come home glowing with happiness. My kiddos (ages 6 y 9) love GCCC. My daughter loves the dogs and my son loves jumping on the trampoline. The freedom the kids have makes this a unique experience. They can choose to opt out of organized activities and just play instead. My daughter prefers to play alone and I like that she can follow her heart. Roxana is a beautiful soul with a great sense of humor for all the kid shenanigans.

Love the Guanacaste Children’s Community Center! It’s such a wonderful place for world-schooling families while also being so welcoming to the local community. My son has been thriving in the Tiny Sprouts program — he absolutely loves the hands-on, nature-based Montessori activities. The teachers are amazing: bilingual, patient, and so caring, which creates the perfect environment for learning and socializing. The staff is equally lovely and supportive, and you can really see how much thought and care go into every detail. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a warm, engaging, and educational space!

I have nothing but great things to say about GCCC. My husband and I had just started our 4 kiddos out on a world schooling adventure and Costa Rica was our first stop. It was abundantly clear that our children needed more social connections and GCCC filled that need amazingly well, even on short notice. Roxana and her team worked with us to get a schedule down that allowed my crew to continue our home school curriculum while incorporating their educational system seamlessly. My kids were able to easily able to make friends (whom they are still chatting with even after we have left CR!) from many different places. We would pick them up happy, fed (we took advantage of the snack/lunch plan every day and they LOVED it), and wiped out. I couldn’t had asked for anything more! Thank you GCCC!!!
